Beautiful game, gave me that Skyrim/RDR2 open-world feel. While the scope is admirable, the inclusion of such a huge number of poorly explained mechanisms/systems left me feeling confused about....everything. After 38 hours, I still can't keep track of all the keyboard commands, skills, etc... Its just all too much. Combined with some poor boss design (looking at you Excavator) and lack of detailed explanations of so many mechanics it led to me spending more time googling questions than actually playing the game. I wore out. Got to hand it to the Devs though, its absolutely beautiful and a joy to explore.
#TakeMyMoney! Eure Arbeit für die Community ist historisch. Vielen Dank.
I am so bored. I don't really know what is going on, or care to know. I don't understand the factions nor do they seem to matter. The combat is insanely easy but at the same time clunky. The building is blah. The dialog is bizarre. I am trying so hard to like it but there is nothing keeping me playing. I lost money on this one for sure. It reminds me of Net Ease's Once Human. Throw everything at the wall and see what sticks sort of play. However, Once Human was actually fun. Nothing is fun in Crimson Desert. I actually groaned when one of my greymanes asked me to go do some stupid quest for them.
this game is a great game very fun for the most part but i cant give it a good review at this point because of these issues that seem to to keep ignoring to many bugs cant complete game if not done in the correct order if you finished the game before all the updates you are locked out of new pet mounts cant get all knowledge to 100% the game because of glitches / bugs there are some very bad game mechanics like if you want to use only your bow you can because every time you take any damage you auto draw your sword ever time its like fighting the game over and over and over re drawing your bow some of the challenges you have to have super human reflexes id say at least 1/3 of the game is just really really miserable game play CONTROLS ARE THE WORST
boring as ♥♥♥♥, missions are repetitive. story is mid. the opening missions dont make sense. ubisoft-style game. glad i refunded this game and pirated it instead
Man, I really wanted to enjoy this game, but ♥♥♥♥, after spending over 100 hours doing meaningless content that was somewhat enjoyable, I just couldn't anymore. The last chapter was so annoying that I got frustrated every time I played. I eventually uninstalled the game because the game design was genuinely starting to make me angry. I really liked the game during some parts, and there are definitely moments where it is great, but overall, it just doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. I know a lot of people will love this kind of game, and sometimes I did too, but it's just so tedious. The controls are clunky, the game feels completely unfocused, and eventually I just couldn't do it anymore. I really wanted to like the world and understand it, but it just never clicked with me. The lore feels almost nonexistent, and I never really understood why anything is the way it is. There was nothing that really hooked me and made me want to learn more about the world. If you like large sandbox RPGs with thousands of fetch quests and tons of side content, you will probably really enjoy this game. There is a lot to do, and I can absolutely see why people love it. But for me, I just got so frustrated and bored towards the end that I had to stop playing. At that point, I wasn't enjoying myself anymore, and there was no reason for me to keep forcing myself through it. I really wanted to like this game, but unfortunately, it just wasn't for me.
