Amazing game. Speedran across the map a lil to get the wyvern egg. It's very fun. Would love better controls, cuz some combos are a lil hippity hoppity lmao. I've played 20 hours and still haven't truly explored outside of the tutorial village and the wyvern place lol. W devs, wish em good luck.
내 시간이 녹아내렸다. 스토리는 기억이 나지 않는다. 뇌 빼놓고 즐기면 좋은 게임.
I'm not sure I could be happier with Crimson Desert, aside from the occasional bug here and there. I spent a lot of time in Black Desert Online and I feel right at home here. I love the nods to BDO while also having a unique story, and having effectively an offline BDO experience. I mean that's not to say it's exactly like BDO. I've been trying to figure out if combat feels like one of the BDO classes or not and I've come to the semi conclusion: kinda? It definitely doesn't feel as AOE fight-off-1000-enemies-at-once, but then again some of the classes in BDO didn't feel like that either. There are so many secrets and hidden mechanics and discovery opportunities in this game, I find myself addicted to seeking out whatever random crazy I can come across. Even standing in place on a particular road can have a variety of experiences if you wait long enough. (like an interesting kind of merchant might come by, or some animal you haven't seen before) I get that some folk don't like how obtuse some mechanics are, that's fair, but I'm frankly used to it from BDO so it feels right at home. Also I'm quite impressed with how well it performs. I definitely do not have the most amazing setup (though it's no slouch) and, for example, I have to run Clair Oscur on about medium graphics. But CD I am able to run on Ultra with no hiccups and it looks and players wonderfully. Also worth mentioning that I am playing under Linux/Proton. I dunno, to sum it up I love this game and I'm happy I finally gave it a shot. I was hesitant thinking I would be disappointed.
At 23 hours in, I don't feel able to review Crimson Desert properly yet. But one thing I do feel compelled to say is: Wow. RIP Bethesda. gg Todd, and good luck in your new job :p
Loved the game and exploration and the graphics, although the sequences in dark rooms and caves that looks like a numb leg feels is real trippy experience. Also, the grind for platinum that made me talk to NPC about fish and catch butterflies like a lunatic was driving me crazy. Still, had a lot of fun.
Single player BDO without the pay to win. I'm outsourcing the rest of my opinions to Max0r, whose opinion i agree with about 90%. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7YIUemrio8
