Absolute waste of time... Once you can get the gun you will find yourself doing a janky ass puzzle while an Argonian charges you from behind. I broke my keyboard and now I have to leave red mountain to get a new one.
TLDR This ride is a lot wilder than you think and I enjoyed it overall and recommend it for hardcore indie horror fans who can handle some jank. It's slow, clunky, and at least one section is really REALLY poorly telegraphed what to do (spoiler sorry not sorry youll thank me later: check every inch of the fusebox carefully) and the achievements don't work - yeah I know insert something about "irony of a game about a bug fixer is full of bugs" LOL. All that being said, there's heart, effort, and an eye and ear for cinematic presentation here. Up until that section I mentioned it was slow yes, but i was still enjoying it a lot, and I think the "game within a game" they have you do to fix bugs, literally doing steps to reproduce bugs indicated by a list and then fixing them, is really clever and cool and honestly, they could make a whole game of that. Also on a personal note it was surreal playing as I was also a dev who went aaa after time in indie and while my experience thankfully wasn't like this, some of what's said hits home. Yes, some is exaggerated in how cartoonishly evil the big guys can be, but some of it... well... wasn't too far from the mark as id like. Anyways, I applaud the dev fpr going for it here. My only other nitpick would be it feels like giant chunks of the story or characterization is missing or maybe cut or lost in translation. Like we're missing some backstory here or reasons why things ended as they did. but ah well, still gun and satisfying enough.
