Going Downhill Fast This game used to be fun, but now it’s like it’s being run by AI. Challenges are just repeats, there are many mistakes in multiple areas that never happened before, and the latest update has completely altered the way it appears visually on my screen, but the buttons still seem to activate in the old spots so I have to touch above the seen buttons to make anything work, part of the screen is cut off, and it’s just more of a nuisance than fun. This game had a lot of potential before. If they added better filters and other things it is obviously capable of it could have been great, but either the developers just moved on to something else or quit on it entirely. Now it’s just a money trap.

ai slop getting worse it's getting so ugly and like making the entire challenge based on this one theme with this one ai generated set . in covet , u literally can't win challenges like that unless you have the set . but it's so ugly u can't even call it fashion

Game no longer accessible I can no longer access this game, I used to play daily. Not sure what is going on with the app but I don’t appear to be the only one experiencing this issue. All I get is pop-ups saying “refresh” or “restart” but they do nothing. A shame as I used to enjoy playing.

Covet not working AT ALL. Glitching and says there’s an error, even after redownloading over and over.

I can’t get into the game I’ve been playing for years but today it just keep giving me an error 1 message. I’m missing daily and other events. I pay real money to enjoy Covet. This needs to be fixed.

It’s not even a game anymore I’ve been a player since 2013, and have had different accounts over the years as I took gaps between actively playing. I’ve been actively playing on my current account since summer 2023. It was a joy to return, as the game captured my interest in expressing my creativity through fashion. I would get lost in the magic of coming up with different styles based on the challenges, seeing which unique and original garments paired well with interesting hair accessories and fun props. It's unfortunate, but such magic has been completely depleted in the recent span of the last couple of months. The changes in both the challenges system and the garment selection have been noticeably lackluster. It’s increasingly apparent that the further development of this game is being treated with laziness. An example would be the voting system, which has always been something ever since the beginning that’s been tweaked and refined for more fair results. At this point, there is no reason to vote. Completing challenges from the free side of the fashion pass and logging in daily alone provide a surplus of tickets. This not only takes away the incentive to vote but skews the system so that your unique look is rated on a lottery, no matter how close or far the look adheres to the challenge’s prompt. This further decreases the chances of entering more than just the event or daily challenges, since someone who doesn’t need to vote doesn’t need to waste their time crafting looks for such a skewed system. The emphasis on the event and daily challenges over the rest is stark, and even then, typically challenge descriptions are literally only one sentence that do not match the picture or full story of the challenge itself. Simple descriptions such as “style a vibrant look” are all too common. How is one supposed to go about that when the selected garments to choose from are all monotone colors? I remember when the descriptions of each challenge would foster inspiration and joy just by reading them. Now there is no point in reading any of it. Overall, there isn’t much of a point to play anymore. Numerous things can be said, but the general point is that this game is no longer fun or enjoyable as a game should be. All you do is click a couple of buttons and get cash/diamonds/tickets. Rinse and repeat. It feels like clockwork at a job. Log in, click the event or daily challenge, click some garments, props, and log off. I believe this is a reflection of the team in control of further development of this game. The steadily increasing disappointing gameplay is due to the lack of care in keeping this game’s players genuinely intrigued. The game has lost all aspects of creativity, which has been its foundation since the start. As much as it pains me to say this, with this trajectory, the game would be better off shutting down. New players will become genuinely bored with the game before getting any significant progression. Thus, is it even a game anymore, or just a chore? If the team behind the game's development views this game as a chore, it sure is showing. I suggest some effort, maybe a player survey to gauge how those who directly support the game's existence feel, at the very least, just so that some care about the game itself is shown. Or, is that too much of a task? Has laziness taken hold, and coming up with new changes that can actually prove beneficial, too much of a begrudging, mundane chore? I hope that this game can change, to return creativity to the players. However, such a goal is impossible when the development team sees creativity as a chore. It is not about pleasing the community, but more so the action of cultivating it that needs to be given more care.

AI Slop Everything looks like ai slop even the stories on the challenges. Today they took away the free $500 prize challenge. I was spending around $10-$20 monthly on this game but now I’m over it.

The passion is leaving from the developers The game is fun I used to play it a lot growing up so it’s such a shame seeing them turn to generative AI :/ I guess they don’t care about their app anymore if they are too lazy to hire actual artists

Fell off once they started using ai to design clothes I’ve played this game off and on for years and have enjoyed it so many times. I loved the competition, creative prompts, and styling was always so much fun. However, they recently introduced “seasonless” challenges, which are basically every challenge now. They fired their artists and broke off their collaborations with brands - so the clothes are now clearly made by ai, along with the story prompts. It completely devalues the game. There’s way less clothing options and everything looks like a carbon copy of another item right by it. There’s no creativity anymore and there’s zero life in this game now. Rip covet.

Brands What made this game fun and unique was the real brands. Now everything is “covet basics” and it is obviously AI generated slop. I miss how the game use to be.
