Extremely repetitive, boring

There's a lot of potential and that's what bothers me most. Needs a new coat of paint and some further development, and in my opinion some writing touch-ups as well. All I could think of while playing was it'd be so much better if it didn't look like a flash game, and if there was some more depth to it. On top of that, the music was deeply annoying to me and the aesthetic is scattered. Also calling this a dating sim at all is crazy. Despite all that I have to admit the management gameplay was kinda fun but you can get that elsewhere too. I could have made half a cosplay in the time I spent on this omg

It's a strange game and really doesn't respect the player's time.

This game, the story and its characters touched me more deeply than I expected. It isn’t a game about cosplay so much as people. I’ve never cosplayed before myself, however the characters are recognizable from pretty much any online, gaming, or convention community. They aren’t tropes, but they are people you know. Their backstories aren’t life changing, but they are human and deep enough that perhaps you might look at the people you meet online a bit differently. I’m still playing because I want to find out more about these characters.

I haven't played this for very long (a little over 3 hours as of this review), but I gotta say I both like and dislike this game. It's not the best time management visual novel sim or whatever you wanna call it. It's easy to play and the game play meechanics are very simple. The story is different than most other time management sims and visual novels I've played, but the flow of the story is disrupted by the occassional grammatical and spelling error, but it's not enough to keep me from playing the game. The art style and animation of the characters and the game are okay. I've seen better, but the art isn't the worst. The music is good, but a little repetitive, especially when you're sitting through your schedule playing out. Which brings me to my biggest gripe, the slowness of the game. In most Time Management Sims or visual novels with time management aspects, you'll see some cute little animations playing out with maybe a few special events that occur at random (such as the main character bumping into one of the potential romantic interests at the park in the evening or something). Watching the schedule play out or rather letting it play it is slow because it seems to drag on for a long time (even though at the most it takes a minute or two get through). Most other time management sims have a speed up button, this game doesn't. I'm not saying the lack of a speed up/fast forward/skip button ruins the game, it just could be improved with a skip/speed up button so we won't have to sit thru the same animation over and over, esp if the main character's sprite is just standing behind a counter or a laptop not really looking like she's doing anything. Besides these gripes, I do reccomend this game because if anything, it lets you experience what it's like to be a cosplayer, making costumes and going to conventions and whatnot, and the story is really interesting. But is there a replayability factor? Um maybe, maybe not story-wise (cause I'm sure story events don't rely on you to be meet any deadlines or go to a specific place, etc, they just require you to fuilfill the next story goal). But there may be replayability in doing things differently and making the costumes in different orders and whatnot., and you can date different people. So is this a game I recommend? Yes. I reccommend playing through it at least for the story and for the many costumes inspired by different fandoms.

Игра "Cosplay Maker" – это простой, но затягивающий способ дать волю своей фантазии и создать персонажей для косплея. Набор инструментов достаточно базовый, но позволяет реализовать довольно широкий спектр идей. Приятно удивляет наличие различных опций кастомизации внешности, от причесок и цвета кожи до более специфических деталей, как шрамы и татуировки. Хотя графика довольно мультяшная и не отличается высокой детализацией, это вполне компенсируется простотой в освоении и интуитивно понятным интерфейсом. Легко экспериментировать с разными стилями и собирать референсы для будущих косплей-проектов. Из минусов можно отметить недостаток более сложного функционала для создания детализированной одежды и аксессуаров. Хотелось бы больше элементов и возможностей тонкой настройки. В целом, "Cosplay Maker" – хороший выбор для тех, кто только начинает интересоваться косплеем или хочет быстро набросать идеи персонажей. Это скорее скетчбук, чем полноценный редактор, но для базовых задач его возможностей вполне хватает.
