i wish all games were cosmic parkour infinite journey
I can't believe they're charging money for this. This is very clearly baby game dev's first prototype, complete with floaty movement, awkward controls, a player controller that gets stuck on stairs, walls that you sometimes just pass right through in a game that's heavily reliant on wall jumps, and embarrassing graphics. This is the sort of thing they should be posting on itch.io for free to get feedback from their friends, but instead they put it on Steam along with a blatant shill review to try to scam people into paying money for it. Absolutely shameful.
How do I give the free Steam key back? This is a janky broken prototype that has no business being released, much less charging money. It looks and plays like a bad game jam or failed student project. If you're looking for an actually finished, fully polished, and thoroughly enjoyable parkour game, check out either the classic "Mirror's Edge", or the recently released "Haste". If nothing else, if you happen to not like those games, and leave a negative review, at least their developers won't lose their ever-loving minds over it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit to respond to the whining "dev": The game isn't difficult or confusing or a struggle. At the time of my review it was simply full of bugs and glitches. The "game play" itself was as basic as it gets. Since all you're doing is whining instead of mentioning updates or improvements, I think it's safe to say the "game" is still nothing but a janky prototype. Players should not be encountering any game play breaking bugs in under 10 minutes of playtime, let alone serious issues in literally every single aspect. If you can't handle someone pointing out that it needs a ton more work, then you should not be a game "dev". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit 2: Real developers are able to handle public criticism, especially when they've made an objectively bad product. Children whine, throw tantrums, make excuses, and blame others. Professionals focus on improving their skills and their product.
This game is very good developer is passionate about game development and is honestly a fun game for passing time despite the not so realistic graphics
