You are a subterranean ore digging cosmonaut. Dive deep into procedurally generated caves and mine rare minerals for cold, hard cash that you can spend on hot, soft jet fuel (among other things!) So spelunk, upgrade, and find the fabled Atlas Globe!

Barely readable fonts, mediocre controls, tedious gameplay. On the plus side: Minimal bugs. The game does have a proper ending. Above average as a gamejam game, but not good enough for a download on steam. Overall not recommended.
Cosmi-Cave 64 is a 2D retro pixel "miner" game where you dig (shoot lasers) into the ground to explore what's below, collect minerals and sell them to refuel and upgrade. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. The resolution is set extremely low here, to the point everything is a barely comprehensible, blocky mess. On purpose, possibly, but making something look bad on purpose isn't going to win any awards. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises.

A very simple cave digging game. Honestly maybe a little too simple, but it's alright for what it is

Not too bad by any means but its basic. That being said with a download smaller than 30mb this game i wasnt expecting a ton. But this does make for a nice little time killer while your downloading other games. Only issue I have is that the platforming feels ehhh. And while I do like the retro appeal, it can make some of the text rather hard to read. Also i dont think it saves at all and while going for something aimed a short sessions is nice, ability to pick up a session again would have been nice too. Overall its free, small and a nice relaxing game to give a try.
7/10
It's ok. The movement when jumping is finnicky though.
