Cooking Diary® Restaurant Game

Updates are ruining the game This game used to be so much fun, but now the updates are completely ruining the game. Before I was able to earn gems in order to upgrade my restaurant and now I cannot earn gems without paying an insane amount of money to purchase. I also cannot earn other rewards like I used to without opening a new restaurant at level 50. It’s unrealistic to play competitively because without the rewards, you have to buy more packages. 50 levels isn’t enough to even complete tasks for each restaurant which actually give you gems. I can’t play to earn season guild points without opening a new restaurant. It is truly ridiculous and now I’m going to be kicked out of my guild because I don’t have money to spend on The game like everyone else.

My review It’s very relaxing and challenging

Relatively Good In comparison to other cooking/restaurant games, this is a better choice. I love the many customization options, the challenge, and the “endless” content. But, it is an obvious money grab. I personally sent a message to see if they would acknowledge other payment methods for their boosters and upgrades. I was told it had to be through the App Store. I actually found on their website other ways to pay, which I found sketchy since they didn’t want to share that with me directly. They try to take advantage of people’s impulsivity through the game and eventually make it impossible to progress without spending money. If you have money to spend, great game.

Money grab - don’t bother Played this game for years. They just keep ruining it for those that are loyal. It’s all about the $$ now. And so obviously rigged. You can watch it prevent you from finishing a level at the very last second when it suddenly stops responding to your clicks *eye-roll*.

This game is great! Cooking Diary is fun & competitive. I downloaded it because I always saw my sister playing on plane rides. When I saw her playing it I thought “Man! That game looks fun!” I downloaded it yesterday & I’m on like level 5! I love it so much & you should totally check it out!

Make it make sense. The game made it much easier on the lower level to gain rubies as prizes. Now I’m at the pizza shop level and it’s become stagnant. A complete halt. How did I go from winning the treasure boxes with 15-20 rubies to now nothing?! You would think as the levels get higher they would give you a bit more because now the upgrades cost much more. This is America during the $2 minimum wage era and inflation is at an all time high. Ridiculous. Now I want to delete the game since I can’t earn rubies to upgrade anymore.

Annoying Since last app update after New Year’s Eve, the music and the background music fight with each other. The levels are so annoying, money grabbing scheme to buy crystals because it’s impossible to go through them.. bs

Update issue The game was running great but ever since I updated the app it glitches and exits itself out
