Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After all these reviews about how CSF is different from CSD, I played it expecting a lukewarm experience. Instead, I found myself equally hooked. There is less frantic button-mashing in Forever, and the requirements for earning holo-stickers (top score) is notably less demanding. It makes for a much less stressful game, but you can find your challenges in the Cooking School - which demands perfect execution of button combos - and Blitz - which demands perfect execution and speed. The game progresses no matter your skill level, that's true. You can mess up button presses and still progress to the next stage. But you can say the same for the CSD series as well - especially CSD1, which I appreciated for treating perfect performance not as a requirement, but a bonus that earns you praise and some extra money. And, come on, this is obviously a different style of game. They went out of their way to experiment, and delivered a visual novel with a story, soundtrack, and gameplay to match. To play this and expect CSD4 is just ridiculous. Taken as the VN/cooking game it's supposed to be, it's a good experience. Overall, I loved my time with CSF. The heartwarming story, the hopeful and uplifting songs, the relaxed gameplay (except my attempts to get gold medals on everything) all made it great for me to chill and unwind with. Like a hot bowl of mom's ribollita.

I would say don't be fooled by the harsh evaluation this game have received. It mostly comes from people who wanted a new CSD with the same mechanics and ended up frustrated by CSF. And I get it, but that doesn't make the game bad. CSF is actually really good and fun to play. It's more of a chaotic rhythm game where the cooking is not really the main part anymore. But it's beautiful, it's challenging, it's funny, the music is great as usual. My best recommendation would be: try it, the main mechanic stays the same throughout the whole game, and if you don't like it, get a refund.
Highly recommended. This does feel rather different from the rest of the Cook Serve series though. This one really drew me in with the characters, the writing, the art, the music, and the voice acting. The gameplay isn't quite as fun as the older Cook Serve titles. But this game is just a treat for the senses. It looks and sounds incredible (and I can almost smell those incredible recipes I'm cooking up 🤤). A supremely positive-vibes game, and that really stands out. Come enjoy some fun characters, and vibe with the music and acting. This is one of very few games I chose to keep the volume on instead of playing a podcast with. Thanks to the devs for such an uplifting game.

The most artistically ambitious game in the Cook Serve Delicious series, served with mouth-watering visuals, an amazing soundtrack, and a heartwarming story. Suitable for casual players and hardcore players who want to max out everything. As someone who was playing mostly for the plot, the gameplay can feel repetitive and tedious while progressing through the story. While I get the spirit of the ending, it still felt a bit anticlimactic. Overall I still enjoyed my time playing and learning more about the CSD universe. I hope to see these characters again in future installments. Tranquillitas!

not good
Cook, Serve, Forever is definitely different compared to the other CSD, BUT in a good way. The art is beautiful, story telling was great, voice acting too. The gameplay was hard to get used to at first but I'm so glad I tried this game. The ending was great too!!!
