I strongly recommend any good people avoid this game like the plague. Not only are there several better alternatives out there with better graphics and combat (like Vindictus to mention one example out of a few), it has one of the worst communities ever and some of that horrible community are chosen to be VL(Volunteer) which are like players helping the GMs keep an eye on the community but just try and have one of those volunteers hate or get jealous of you and they'll start bullying you all the time and the mods will do nothing about it. Also those so called volunteers tend to be from 1 top guild most of time and that 1 top guild has free reign to bully everyone. Then you have the community itself socially engineered by the game to be very toxic and obnoxious. You'll find sexists and misogynists who casually sexually harass you and the mods will do nothing about it. As for the game itself, its very out of date. This game is all about the combat but some other old games have combat that is as good if not better like Vindictus and with better graphics on top of that, too. Not to mention that BDO exists and is sometimes given away for free and BDO can put this instance based shallow and ugly looking game to shame any day. The game's sound effects are pretty bad and feel rather offensive to the ear. For example, check a gameplay for say Elementalist and you'll see how annoying the sound effects are. Lots of low quality BOOM sounds going on that just get very very annoying real quick and you'll be hearing them a lot since this game is pretty grindy. The music is a hit or miss. Some OSTs are cool, some others meh, some cringe. Overall, nothing to write back home about. Main classes are genderlocked and fashionlocked and you have 5 main classes that split into subclasses and each of these 5 main classes/character types have their own limited customization and their own fashion style. Most female characters and their outfits are stupidly sexualized and seem male gazey like: Witchblade class for example barely have any options for pants as most of their outfits and fashion are short skirts that tries so hard to accentuate their hips and show as much thicc thighs of the character as possible. Your character ends up always looking like a hooker somehow if you choose to go Witchblade and its subclasses are some of the most fun in the game. Mystic (the loli class) whose outfits are mostly jolly little girl dresses with some sexualized loli outfits here and there for pdfiles and that's it. Shaman class whose outfits are asian thigh haven. 90% of them will show her whole legs and thighs up to panties and like the Witchblade, you're going to end up seeing your character panties at least 50% of time unintentionally while playing specially when jumping. Very few of her outfits actually have pants at all. Hunter class has an obnoxious 14 yo teen voice eventhough he probably has the best outfits interms of fashion. Balance is almost non existent. Certain few classes will own everywhere PVP and PVE like Gunslinger while some are completely broken for PVP like Maiden who gets iframes 24/7 once she upgrades 1 certain skill. Then there is Demonisher that when geared enough will take almost literally 0 damage when she's in demon form. Meanwhile, there are classes that totally suck like Reaper. Some classes will lag your game for you and others if they've been bold enough to enable effects like Warden, Viking and Gunslinger and their skill effects will cover all your screen. Speaking of lag, the game's optimization is trash not to mention the crashes, DCs, bugs and exploits but I'll probably need a whole other review to mention all of those as well. The game also just keeps getting more and more P2W as it goes. Its very pay to progress in the sense that you'll either have to farm for some upgrade for a year or so or swipe and get it right now. They also have a system called intrusion which is like PK. Someone will invade whatever instance you're doing and try to kill you and if its a broken class, your best bet is to try and race the intruder to the dungeon's finish line before they get to you or else you'll miss on your rewards including the clear exp. Some of these dungeons require currency or some sort of pass, too. The game simps specially the VLs will, ofc, tell you otherwise and give you unhinged doses of copium about how manageable the game is for F2P but be my guest and go try and see for yourself, you'll never catch up and you'll end up having to play a broken class to be able to get anywhere satisfactory in this game. If you have ever been unfortunate to try one of those scummy League of Angels games, most of the community in C9 is as bad as League of Angel's. Same level of cringe. Save your brain cells and your time and play something else.
