A fun, uniquely challenging and brutal arcade game with beautiful 3D visuals inspired by the Breakout games. You must try to control FOUR different paddles at the same time on each edge of the screen, trying to “contain” and destroy the bricks before they drift out of the screen!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A nice brick breaking game with dual paddle control using the mouse. It starts out with the side paddle areas blocked off. This allows you to practice without banging your head against the wall. I found the color to be a little off putting. If they added a color swap It would make it easier to see.
Developed and published by Planet X Game Studios, CONTAINMENT reimagines the classic brick-breaking genre by replacing familiar simplicity with a far more demanding and tactical gameplay structure. Instead of guiding a single paddle across the bottom of the screen, players are tasked with controlling four independent paddles positioned around every side of the arena. The objective is to stop drifting blocks from escaping while breaking them apart before they reach the edges. This deceptively simple premise quickly becomes a test of concentration, coordination, and fast decision-making, offering an experience that feels fresh despite drawing inspiration from one of gaming's oldest arcade concepts. The game's mechanics revolve around maintaining complete control over the playfield at all times. Every side of the arena can suddenly become the source of danger, requiring players to constantly divide their attention and react instantly to changing situations. Rather than relying on luck or power progression, success comes from learning enemy movement, improving reflexes, and mastering the unusual control scheme. As levels become more chaotic, players are encouraged to anticipate threats instead of merely reacting to them, creating a satisfying sense of progression that comes entirely from personal skill development. This emphasis on mastery makes each completed stage feel genuinely rewarding, especially after multiple failed attempts. Visually, CONTAINMENT adopts a colorful three-dimensional presentation that remains easy to read even during the busiest moments. The clean environments and straightforward visual effects ensure that gameplay clarity always takes priority, an important design decision considering how much information players must process simultaneously. Explosions and destruction effects add excitement without overwhelming the screen, while the polished arcade aesthetic complements the fast-paced gameplay. The soundtrack and sound effects reinforce the energetic atmosphere, helping maintain tension as the pace steadily increases and mistakes become more costly. Replay value is one of the game's strongest qualities. Its arcade structure naturally encourages players to improve their scores, refine their techniques, and challenge themselves to survive increasingly difficult scenarios. Leaderboards and achievements provide additional motivation for those who enjoy chasing high scores and perfecting their performance. Because matches are relatively short, it is easy to jump back in for another attempt, making the game well suited for both brief sessions and longer periods of practice. The core gameplay loop remains engaging because each retry offers an opportunity to become more efficient and better prepared for future challenges. That said, CONTAINMENT is not designed for players seeking a relaxed or forgiving experience. The requirement to monitor four sides of the screen simultaneously creates a steep learning curve that may initially feel intimidating. New players can expect frequent failures before becoming comfortable with the controls, and the increasing difficulty leaves little room for error. Additionally, some players have reported occasional technical issues such as crashes or minor performance inconsistencies, which can briefly interrupt the otherwise polished gameplay experience. While these problems do not overshadow the game's strengths, they are worth noting for those expecting flawless technical performance. CONTAINMENT succeeds by taking a familiar arcade formula and transforming it into something that demands significantly more focus and precision. Its innovative four-sided paddle mechanic creates a unique challenge that rewards patience, persistence, and mechanical skill, while its clean presentation and replay-driven design keep players invested long after the initial learning phase. Although its high difficulty and occasional technical issues may limit its appeal to more casual audiences, those who enjoy reflex-based arcade games will likely appreciate its originality and satisfying gameplay loop. It is an inventive spin on a classic genre that confidently stands apart from traditional brick-breaking titles. Rating: 6/10

I was a tester for this game. It's a very fun brick breaker-style game with top notch presentation and an interesting twist of controlling 4 paddles simultaneously. There are lots of cool power ups, with my favorite being the explosives (e.g. missiles). The game runs smoothly, features nice lighting and a relaxing soundtrack that really suits the gameplay. The gameplay provides a good balance of challenge and fun. The developer has been very open and responsive to feedback. Highly recommended!
