Have had this game since it first came out on CD. Always been a solid game that has been played a lot over the years before Steam was even thought of unless you mean the condinsation type. Sry for the piss poor spelling.
A good old classic favorite game

可玩性极高,单位升级丰富
Command & Conquer: Generals was one of my favorite games growing up, but this was actually the first time I completed all three campaigns: USA, China, and GLA. The USA campaign was probably my favorite overall, although China has always been my favorite faction to play. There is just something incredibly satisfying about building a base exactly how I want, creating a completely unnecessary army, and then sending everything forward to destroy whatever is left on the map. That is why I love these older RTS games so much. I primarily played the campaigns, with a few skirmishes against the computer mixed in. Multiplayer was never happening. I know exactly how that would go, and I would get absolutely demolished. The game definitely shows its age, but the modern warfare setting still makes Generals stand out. Red Alert 2 is another one of my favorite Command & Conquer games, and I also love Warcraft III and Rise of Legends, but those games lean heavily into fantasy, alternate history, or more unrealistic technology. Generals is the one that gives me the straightforward modern military experience. Tanks, jets, helicopters, infantry, missiles, and massive armies without needing to introduce aliens or take everything into space. Later Command & Conquer games started losing me once they pushed too far into futuristic territory. The personality is also impossible to forget. The unit dialogue, the faction designs, the superweapons, and the general early-2000s ridiculousness are permanently stuck in my head. Training a unit and immediately hearing “SIR, YES SIR!” Come on, man. That still hits. Without the nostalgia, some of it would probably feel dated or absurd. With the nostalgia, it remains one of those games I can always return to and immediately enjoy. It is not one of the greatest games ever made, but it is a great RTS and a genuinely good game that still delivers exactly what I want from it.
The BEST !
