Comedy Quest

"Comedy Quest" is an very badly made, very mediocre un-funny comedy themed Adventure Game Studio... roughly the equivalent of Ren'Py and RPG Maker in terms of quality (none), this lets you make garbage point and click adventure games (think Kings Quest) without needing to know anything about game development, you just fill out forms and templates in the toolset and then you can tell your imaginary girlfriend that you're a real game developer. She's super impressed with you. What do you do in the game? There's a stand up comedy theme that doesn't work, so you go through the adventure by doing comedy gigs and having your eyes assaulted with some of the worst graphics to infest PC gaming for decades. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

I wouldn't reccomend this to yougner kids, but is it silly and worth playing? Yes. (As long as you're an adult, at least.) Granted? It's definitely not anything "explicit", but it does contain at least BRIEF profanity...which I feel is a bit unneccesary. But on the plus side? At least it's not NEARLY as bad as cartoons by Seth McFarlane...including "Family Guy"! (Which went from 'okay" to just plain stupid and insulting.) I'm also surprised that this game DOES NOT have any achievements!
