Come Right Inn - Season 1

Overall - Surprisingly well put together visual novel. With 4 episodes currently available at the writing of review, it's roughly 7 hours long, unless you plan to hunt for achievements. My guess it will be around 10 hours with finished Season 1. Story - So far is interesting and plays out slowly, leaving much room for branching out, additional content, characters, new episodes, maybe even seasons, etc. As an adult visual novel it's not as packed with sex as other games, but I wouldn't call it bad. Even though there are ladies without any scenes so far. Visuals - It's charming. Environments and characters have somewhat west-comics style art with a hint of eastern hentai influence. In 1440p some close ups can look tad low resolution, but only encountered a few, I'm sure developer will fix those. Characters - Diverse visually, even with slightly similar face details. Voiced dialogues really make this much more enjoyable than pure text based novels. Each voice adds that unique flare to each character, making them feel more alive. Emotions, character, status was well captured with audio. Gameplay - It's your standard visual novel. Go through dialogues, scenes until you can pick something you can say or do, with occasional choices and consequences. There are phone sections, where you access social media app to give likes to posts, pick comments to reply, save and check pictures, play music, PM characters, etc. It's fun little side content. Adult content - I would say it's subtle. You don't see it every 5 minutes but when you do it's well done. Animations are well animated, even though they are just moving drawings. Good detail, emotion. Audio adds that spice. Some characters are more casual with bed talk, some bossy, some go 110%, so there's variety present. You can have better or worse relationship with characters depending on what dialogues and choices you go for. Some scenes are locked behind high relationship or specific choice. There's no RPG like system in this. Technical - Game runs well. You can save, load and rewind pretty much freely. I only experienced one instance where I couldn't load into save and it would freeze the game, so I'd suggest saving often and a bit before important choices. No issues with controls or performance on my end. Game has some achievements for those that like them. Conclusion - I noticed some people on forums and web say it's made with AI, honestly I would welcome more games like this if they had proper puppet-master in charge of AI stuff. I like the art style, characters and story so far and would suggest people try this game out and if you enjoy then support it. Simple as that. P.S. Waiting for future episodes and seasons.

Cons: * Some of the dialogue navigation / choices are difficult to get right depending on whose route you want to be on. A walk-through (or a LOT of experimentation) is almost a necessity as some of the choices didn't seem particularly intuitive to me. * Some of the choices need more detail or more options; for example there was a point in episode 3 where Kelly basically asks if you like Gina or her and there should've been options to say something like 'I'm not interested in Gina like that, but I am interested in <insert name here>' - that choice felt like if the player isn't interested in Gina or Kelly, they have to say they are interested in Gina to make sure to stop any relationship progress with Kelly. There should have been an option to pick the LI that you are more interested in and the list of options should have been predicated on whether you had enough points with the given names on the list to qualify. * As a friendly FYI - there isn't much content of the lewd nature with Bridget in Season 1. Her route is a very slow burn, so heads up for new players as she's by far the most popular LI in the game (myself included in that). Pros: * Voice-acting is solid and adds a lot to the game. * I love the art style of the game - the women are beautiful, graphics are great and it's a nice change from the standard Ren'Py AVNs with many over-used models on the market. * Holy heck is Bridget off the charts attractive. Nice job on her design, Dev. * Love the story-telling style of the game - it's really unique. Almost like watching a movie play out (but don't worry if you don't like that style you can press the 'play / pause' button in the lower left corner and it'll slow things down to one slide at a time if you prefer the normal progression style of an AVN) - unlike in most Ren'Py games where you have to click the mouse or press the spacebar to progress - this game will basically auto-play with the scene moving forward in a nice automatic flow with full voice-acting, characters moving around etc. just like watching a movie, but you can pause it anytime you want. This is much more immersive than a regular visual novel, IMO. * The game's narrative / story are well-told and remain intriguing. Dev is doing a very nice job of writing; this includes dialogue, events, and overall narrative. I'm basically all-in on Bridget and like noted in the Cons section there really isn't any lewd content with her yet, so I can't give much information on the lewd scene quality. * Game is a bit of a slow-burn and I like that. This will hopefully ensure that when the deeper, more meaningful adult stuff starts happening, it will be more impactful. * No forced LGBT content, thank you for that, Dev. * No additional DRM beyond Steam. * Excellent performance. * No bugs or crashes * No major grammatical errors and I only came across 2 or 3 spelling errors / word choice errors in the whole game. Great job, there. * No censorship that I am aware of. Other key items intended as Early-Access feedback for the Dev: * Bridget is easily #1 for me (followed by Mira in a distant 2nd place) - I can't tell if Bridget is intended to just be a tsundere or a femdom, though (or maybe both?). It'd be really interesting to see a unique and special combination and give the player some choices on how the lewd part of the relationship could develop depending on the player's preferences when it happens - for example, I think it would be pretty darn sexy if Bridget had some gentle femdom angles where the relationship could develop into a loving, romantic one over time, but where she could still retain her natural dominant personality in the bedroom - think doing things like gentle face sitting / riding and amazon position, etc instead of the hardcore whips and bondage that people would generally think of when hearing the term 'femdom'...that would be a unique approach that I think would fit her personality in a sexy way and the Dev could still give players the option to avoid that and go vanilla if desired to make everybody happy. * Kissing animations could use some work; they seem a little awkward & stiff. * Would be nice if the dev could add in lip movement / sync with the dialogue audio. Just a wishlist item, here, though not a huge deal. * @ Dev - I know the Femdom option wasn't in the top 3 of your recent poll, but still had some decent votes and I think some light stuff would fit Bridget's personality quite well, please consider making some of it optional. :) Gameplay Style: Choice-Based AVN. Seems to be angling toward relationships instead of harem which I am happy about. Harem games are terrible as they are just so ridiculous. Basically in a game like this you just click the mouse or press spacebar to progress (this game has an auto-play option though which is pretty nice and cinematic IMO especially since it has voice-acting). You'll need to make choices from time to time that, so far, will mostly just impact relationships between the MC and the various girls in the game. Game Length: 6-8 Hours. Final Rating: 8/10. Great game - I'm quite pleasantly surprised with this game and would strongly recommend it at full price. It has not gotten anywhere near the amount of attention it deserves.

[b]Closing Thoughts:[/b] Fairly interesting game and the art style is the major selling point. Not sure what's AI and what isn't but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me since it's overall consistent. I'm not sure if this game is going for harem or single relationship. There's one woman that you seem to get into a relationship with based on the dialogue but then you can have sex with other women and it doesn't come up. Some extra sex scenes seem to be tied to your choices and how they influence the women's affection toward you. There's also no sex scene for one (maybe two) of the major characters in these first 4 episodes. All in all I'm interested enough to check out the next season when it comes out.

This game has everything to be the best in this genre. - plot: great - audio: I'm in love with many actresses' voices - animation: nearly great - character design: unique and great - price: very very great the work put into this game is exceptional. I bought this game after the third episode was out, so it's worth the money. I do hope that devs give more update though, so that I don't think it's a dead game.

Одна из самых красивых рисовок с помощью ИИ, которые я видел, понятно, что человеческий фактор с правками и стилизацией тут именно основа, когда инструмент используется как помощник, а не главный двигатель всего, и такой подход в качестве заметен сразу. На редкость действительно интересные персонажи. Нет множества пустых диалогов, годный юмор и самый главный плюс — все диалоги с хорошей озвучкой. Очень понравилось, что в игре минимум статики и автор очень часто предпочитает менять ракурсы, добавлять живой фон, использовать дополнительные анимации, чтоб картинка была всё время в движении, а не приедающимся статичным фоном. В игре отличный текст, история захватывающая, сюжет развивается плавно и пока выдерживает нужный накал интриги (у нас тут детектив). К игре только одна придирка: почему-то сцены секса пока не отличаются таким же вниманием к деталям, анимации немного скованны, и иногда они сразу переходят к следующей сцене при нажатии «продолжить». В общем, тут есть за чем понаблюдать и посмотреть дальнейшее развитие.

Good Game Play, great graphics, music that works. I was honestly surprised I loved the voice overs in this game, I usually turn off voice over game sound because it's annoying or distracting. Excellent game, give it a try. I've play the first two parts of Season 1 and I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the third part.

Awesome intriguing mistery story, beautiful use of AI. Way better than "original" daz style 3d AVNs with no sounds or voice acting. Really recommend

Здесь, на мой взгляд, получилось вполне неплохо. Вышел довольно уникальный стиль рисовки: да, видно, что работал ИИ, но либо художник приложил руку, либо сам ИИ отработал на все деньги. Картинка вылизанная, приятная, радуют мелкие детали. Иногда персонажи выглядят слегка холодно или их взгляды кажутся бессмысленными, но это, скорее, придирки и домыслы. По самой новелле… Скорее, это спектакль. Ты смотришь что-то вроде мультфильма: всё полностью озвучено и сделано на хорошем уровне. Голоса явно знакомые, так что, скорее всего, это актёры из определённых кругов. Говорят хорошо, придираться не хочется. По пикантному контенту… Он тут есть, но пока немного. Впрочем, пока только два эпизода, в будущем будет побольше, надеюсь. Основной упор сделан на сюжет, и он пока интригует. Похоже, что он линейный, так как ключевые события всё равно происходят, но есть система отношений с персонажами. Я подозреваю, что она должна открывать дополнительные опции, но, даже немного поэкспериментировав, пока не до конца понял, как именно это работает, кроме циферок в конце уровня. Сцены можно пропускать, если вдруг захочется. Контента пока не очень много, но есть потенциал для чего-то действительно интересного: оригинальная, красивая визуальная подача и полная озвучка.
