Really fun game, Glad i found it. You have nothing to lose except maybe a few hours lol. Not sure how to get half the achievements or how to get to a few secret places though.
I think this is a pretty good scavenger hunt game, there is some background music, there is bit of a story to it but it is a bit confusing, you can explore and interact with things, there are secrets and achievements, and it is FREE. I think some of the bad reviews for this game are outdated because this game is not that bad it is just small and there are some things that are a difficult to figure out or understand. This is really good for a FREE game It would be nice to get a few hints for some things or for someone to add some guides and walkthroughs (more community) but it is still a good game that works your brain.
挺不错的游戏
This is not even a game, it's either a psychological prank or mockery, I don't know...
"Collection Quest" is kind of like an old school classic RPG like Ultima, but with the RPG components yanked out. Is this a terrible idea? Absolutely, yes it is. What do you do in the game? Move around on an expansive 2D RPG grid (with no RPG), click through badly written dialogue (if they could write properly, they'd be published authors, instead, $100 on Steam Direct), and collect a bunch of cards and stuff... this slowly reveals a crappy story nobody was really that interested in. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Resolution and controls are locked, again this is never acceptable on a PC game. I know, changing the resolution on a pixelcrap game won't change the pixelcrap, but that's all part of the problem, isn't it? On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. They also have their hand out for a $1 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money from buying empty DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Given that this free game won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? I can't recommend this. It may not be the worst thing on Steam but it's far from the best, and PC gamers have far better options for spending their time.
