Fishing scam game.

"Coin Pusher Live" is quite simply a mobile app/browser-tier trashware "game" with gambling, intended to prey on gamers. While it's advertised as "Free" to play, it isn't, you must buy an in game currency to buy "coins", basically NFTs. Disgusting. I'm at a loss for words at how such an evil, unethical system as organised online gambling could jam its foot into the door here on Steam, at a time when loot boxes and other anti-gamer, predatory exploitation systems are being investigated by governments around the world. This online gambling scam also has the additional cancer of being Twitch integrated... trying to get Twitch viewers to spend their money on this toxic gambling scheme sure does seem like a great way to lose Twitch viewers. Pretending for a moment this isn't the evil of cancer manifesting itself on Steam with the intention of exploiting and entrapping PC gamers into gambling and debt, it's got all the same qualities as a mobile/browser game ported to PC, with poor quality minimum effort visuals, so it doesn't meet the standards for a PC game. But I'm pretty sure that being cancer personified is really more than enough reason to disqualify this one. So the graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. Online gambling games are cancer. Whatever their motivation, creeping on reviewers like this is [b]not okay[/b]. The developer response is a disgusting insult full of lies and dishonesty. The breach of guidelines for developers was conducted in a desperate attempt to throw lies at gamers and mislead them, because apparently some significant income must be attributed to the disgusting mobile app style cash shop embedded in this garbage [b]that the developer is lying about[/b]. The developer tries to argue that this game does not follow EXACTLY the same modus operandi as other online cardgames, Texas hold'em games and so on. EXCEPT IT DOES. We can tell very easily why the developer of this scamware argues so aggressively by shoving lies at Steam gamers. Follow the money. I'm glad to say this guys cash grab scamware has failed. The "developer" argues that I review a lot of games, therefore this game review isn't valid or truthful. Huh. If I changed all my other reviews to positive, would the graphics and gameplay of this crap game suddenly improve? No. The developer seeks any possible angle to throw shade at me personally to discredit my review. You can see what they are trying to do. If this was the only review I have ever written, would that change any of the properties of this game or alter the facts contained in my review? Of course not. [b]My reviews for other games have no bearing on the dismal quality of this failed product[/b]. That specific, pointless attack is an attempt to misdirect and mislead gamers, choosing to attack this reviewer to divert attention away from truth about his unethical, heinous, gamer hostile actions. Through this breach of Valve guidelines, we can see just how toxic this developer and his cash grab scam really is. In a display of astounding arrogance, the "Main Character" is seems to think toxic mobile app style microtransactions and disgusting cash shops are perfectly fine (and indeed, in this case, don't exist, even when they are right there for all to see!!!). They are not okay. The developer will argue that there's no intention they ever get used, this is of course pure BS. The developer had all the time to build a mobile app cash shop and financial back end to infest this garbage, and now they tell you they did all that work with the intention nobody would use it. This is obviously BS. Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this toxic online gambling scam to anyone.
