About

“Stand to attention soldiers! We are looking a harsh new reality right down the barrel - the world is a post apocalyptic nightmare, all that’s left of humanity is pockets of survivors and organised military bases like ourselves. We prepared for this situation, the necessary equipment and resources were stockpiled long ago, knowing it was only a matter of 'when' and not 'if'. But we have a plan, an ambitious plan to wipe this zombie scourge from the face of the planet.
The enemy are no longer human, they are no longer your parents, siblings or friends, they are an organism of pure evil that seeks only to spread, mutate and destroy - its foul stench must be eliminated at any cost! We are looking for five volunteers to execute this plan - five soldiers to step up for what is almost certainly a suicide mission; which of you have the bravery and skills to get out there and meet this challenge face to ugly rotting face?"
- General Johnson, CURE HQ.

Please fix... everything? Guns feel bad. Movement feels bad. Difficulty feels bad. Hit registration feels bad. Also: 2 minutes to extract while dodging endless swarms? Where was this developed, Tel Aviv? Otherwise 0/11. Well done.
A Quick And Short Review Of Everyone's L4D At Home (writing as I play, excuse the hours)

Codename CURE II, I say, successfully achieves at what it wants to be; the good old-fashioned CURE, for the modern age. It's been quite a while since I've played the original game, so I might get things wrong, granted. With that out of the way, let's get started:
Part 1: The Video in Game
One insane detail is what I think might be one of its strengths (and weaknesses?) is that everything in the map seems to be procedurally generated. From rooms, streets, and so what have you. I will miss the linear, beautifully detailed and lit maps of the original, but if they want more replayability, then sure. I'll have it. As usual, we are badass military dudes and gals with one clear objective: Shoot zombies. Get to the end. Plant a bomb, and roll out of the area badass-ly as we watch the screen go white from our efforts. I was more expecting a "camera from the front of vehicle showing map, go up, big kaboom" which should add a little more badassery, but sure, I guess. (X2) Don't expect a triple AAA experience or something revolutionary. It's simple. Military folk have classes, shoot zombies and zombie dogs who seem to be stronger, that's it. The guns barely have any punch or recoil. There's no voice-acting or banter for the military guys and gals. I can tell this is some sort of Early Access without the EA label. But here comes one problem...
Part 2: I forgot what I was gonnna write
The overall feel is... very strange. There's no fancy intro where you rappel down or step out, your guys are just... there. The hit-marker just pops in and out without an animation. Your crosshair is static. It's oddly so... surreal. I don't know how to describe it, but enjoy my half-ass "WTF is this?" I'm not so sure about the big blue arrows showing where you're supposed to go. I think the "awkward always on your screen" bomb indicator does the job already. ...where's all the punch, in fact? You shoot the guy with the yellow orbs, he just immediately stands up. I assume he's like this game's Tank or Witch? No screen shake or music or anything, he's just... chasing you. Your guy has an animation for pushing a button (no sound, btw?), but not an animation for picking up ammo or opening doors. From what it looks like, zombies just respawn out of your sight. I swear I just cleared everything in that room, what's up with that? I get it, the average gamer needs a little action, but I would appreciate it if they went the L4D way, have special infected occasionally just pass through to throw a wrench in the cog. I shall continue Part 2 and 3 in a moment, but for now, take it as a small "what is this like?" I don't strongly recommend it or anything, but it's just... fine. If you liked the original, you are going to like this. That's me. It's tolerable. I wish good luck to the developers, if there was a feedback form in the game, I would fill it up! I shall buy every DLC in this so I can give these fellows who have brought us a childhood classic a chance.

A really fun time whether you're in solo mode or playing with friends. The weapons feel good to use and are powerful, the class system serves it purpose well, and the customization options are fun to toy around with. Even for a free game the effort is extremely apparent and think the game is worth your time. Highly recommend.
this game is blast with perfect coop/ multiplayer mode!!
