Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Asset Flip! "Code Zero" is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips/kitbashes infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
The name of this game has more than one meaning, because the developer cleverly also describes how much genuine software engineering went into the creation of this "game". The developer even openly admits it's a complete and utter ripoff of Counter-Strike, only asset flips, horribly made, full of bugs and completely untested. I think it takes a lot of, well, being kind to the developer here, audacity, to rip off another game, put "CS Inspired" on the title, and then publish it on the exact same platform as the game you are ripping off, which is owned by the business whose game you're ripping off! Of course it's not a 1:1 ripoff... for some inexplicable reason the terrorists and counter-terrorists are all little anime girls. I guess the developer couldn't find soldier assets in the asset store? So, "Code Zero" is a basic asset flip, kitbashed out of a bunch of someone else's game assets all thrown in a blender. This is creatively bankrupt stuff, effectively plagiarism, and it's bad for everyone. There is no price tag, but you get what you pay for. When developers can't do their job properly and instead plagiarise the work of others, usually they also lack the technical skills to handle coding, optimization, or game design, or any of the other things real, competent game developers do. "Code Zero" is proof of that. Asset flips never result in a high quality experience for gamers. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Let's talk about price and the value this represents for us gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 9 players, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
Before I played Code Zero, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
