Truly one of my all time favorite games, Clockwork Calamity is everything I hope for in an independent project like this and while it may be a little rough around the edges, the combination of the art style, original music and the game's design just oozes heart and soul that touched me on a deep level. Sylvie and Hubol did a great job and should be incredibly proud of what they put together here. Truly a game of all time. I surpassed Princess and became Chicken Princess. 10/10. Gonna bring these mushrooms home.
Everything I've ever wanted in a game. Such a beautiful game from Sylvie, I'm a bit sad I put it away for 2 years! I'm not lying when I say it's one of the most amazing experiences I've had in a game, everything from the movement to the writing and the songs are such top notch. Mwah mwah mwah

This is legitimately one of the BEST games I've ever played. It's cute. It's funny. The OST is ridiculous. The puzzles and movement system are so weird and oddly satisfying. From start to finish, I had a blast exploring and trying to piece together what I was supposed to do to collect items. The game isn't necessarily long or complex if you pay attention to what the NPCs have to say about the world. And there are plenty of odd little quirks that make it possible to cheese areas that are challenging. I cannot recommend it enough. It's clear the dev put a lot of love and care into this game, and it shows—an absolute gem of a game.
For most, this will be looked at as a half-assed "ugly" title. -but for me, It feels like a very personal game. Absolutely love this game. It stands on it's own as it's own unique title and inspires artist to do their own creative things. Excited to see more from Sylvie and Hubol.
This was a beautiful and strangely addicting game. Making trades, gobbling up mushrooms, looking for secrets, and dealing with an entirely new type of bouncy platforming -- this one sucked me in slowly. It has a perfect combination of obtuseness and playability that made me want to continue to navigate the systems. I also have been singing "Fluffy little city, fluffy like a kitty" and "mushroom zone... gonna bring these mushrooms home... bring them home" to my wife over and over. Good stuff.
everytime hubol sings about the zone im in i smile a little
One of my favorite gaming experiences this year, and in a long time! Such a unique and wonderful little game and world to explore, with tons of cute and quirky characters to meet and help. It had me smiling the whole time, and I had the adorable lyrics stuck in my head for days after finishing it. (and happily humming and singing along) It also has some really unique and fun mechanics that I haven't really seen in a platformer like this before. Definitely recommended if you want something different and cute. Thank you Sylvie and Hubol, for such a delightful and memorable experience. <3
maybe the most unique game I've ever played. totally recommend
If you come to this game with an open mind and a curious heart, it will reward you many times over.
very cutesy silly platformer, with tricky wall jumping. Why are the free games better than the 1$ games?
