This is a solid little physics based puzzler, and its free which is Neat, Not a big fan of the collar oddest item to work around for me and they have other stuff like the popping umbrella later too.
if you have patience unlike me.. for a gamer that LOVEVS a challenge, get this or disappoint urself
Pretty fun gameplay that becomes more diverse and challenging over time without being unfair.
Really cute game about stacking items and making sure they don't fall off. There's actually way more content than I first thought and the game really pushes you to actually think about what you're doing rather than just balling it and trying to brute force a solution (even tho sometimes you do win like that lmao). Overall a great experience with clearly a lot of love driving the project and a ton of secret stuff to uncover which is always fun. Would greatly recommend !
Overall awesome game that I would recommend anyone checking out. I've played Clean Stack for about an hour now, and have finished a little over half the levels from each "world". So far I have found the game pretty difficult in a way I'm not sure I enjoy. It is certainly challenging but some of the challenge comes from the friction or lack there of on the items. The pyramid, for example likes to get squeezed out to the side if you drop anything on either of its slopes even if it is embiggened. If the friction was tuned slightly I could see myself enjoying the game more. Outside of the level of challenge I love everything about the game. The art and music is very pleasant and cozy. I also really like the UI of the main and settings menu, very creative. Specific shout out to the way you switch the difficulty, it feels really good. I also really like the Kovo monster that acts as the narrator, the writing is funny even though the grammar could use a sweep through to clean up. Great Job to the very small developer!!
It's a very simple and cute puzzle game, a good way to spend some time and besides it is completely free, even though I can't I still would have payed money for it :3
This game feels like a hybrid of a Newgrounds Flash Game and those old Scholastic CD ROM games, and I mean that as the HIGHEST compliment. Considering the amount of content this game provides, the fact that it's free is astonishing. I really dig the chill vibes this game has, and the meta-narrative elements through for me a loop. Also that Easter Egg after Alt+F4-ing the game got a big laugh out of me. I have two criticisms however... • Playing with both Hard & Ribbon Modes on, the positions of the non-Ribbon Mode objects & potions being randomized while not being able to tell what they are because of Hard Mode felt needlessly cruel. Knowing the sizes of the objects helped a bit, but zero description for the potions felt like I needed RNG heavily in my favor to even complete some of the levels with both modifiers on. • Bananas feel cursed. Out of every object in the game, the Bananas feel like the only one with physics that feel inconsistent between attempts (except maybe the two halves of the Yin-Yang Balls). Rotating and dropping one in the exact same position feels like it'll go in multiple directions based on the attempt, and it is incredibly frustrating. You have given me a hatred for the Potassium and I cannot forgive you /jk. Those aside, this was a very fun and enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend for anyone into physics puzzle games.
