For a free Otome this has easily got to be one of my favourites, all characters (yes even the villains) have their own qualities to love. Each Love Interest has depth and there is no surface level personality to them. Lucette, our heroine/MC, is such a breath of fresh air with a complex personality and questionable likability until you get further into the story, which is incredibly well written. I cannot recommend this enough! <3
:D

Struggled to 100% this one. Collecting every good & bad ending across all routes was a chore. Sitting through the same overarching story twice per route was a massive hassle. Thank goodness for the skip & fast-forward buttons! On the bright side, it's a free game, the fairy tale lore & the cursed spins were great, the love interests had really distinctive (if highly stereotypical) personas. You get a checklist of archetypes: the haughty tsundere Pauper-turned-Prince (Rod), the narcissist beauty (Karma), the annoying, amnesiac flirt (Rumple), the kind & protective mellow knight (Fritz), the manipulative obsessive villain (Varg) and the cursed witch sweetheart shota with a Peter Pan Syndrome (Waltz). Great concept and nice lore, but a tedious completionist grind.
This is clearly a staple for a reason! I've been meaning to play this for a long time. Played Karma's route first, then discovered the recommended order and played the rest of the routes in that order. I like how much difference there is in each route, how it never felt like a drag to get through any of them, and how there was no ending that felt too perfect; in each route, you have to sacrifice something, be it knowledge or a life. The chemistry between Lucette and the LIs felt real, especially because the similarities Lucette shared with each of the LIs was so easily identifiable and made the developments of their relationships feel completely plausible. (Just how much did some of you guys replay this game!? Those times are so much longer than mine!)
A very engaging visual novel with an interesting setting. You can choose to follow the route of one of five characters, each with both a good and a bad ending — so there are ten possible endings in total. Both the good and bad endings are genuinely interesting, and they depend on the choices you make throughout the story. That said, one downside (at least in my experience) is that reaching the good endings without using fan-made guides feels almost impossible. Still, for me the most important part is the story — and it absolutely delivers. For a free game, such a well-written narrative is quite rare. I’d definitely recommend it to fans of visual novels and romance.
good game
Kinda embarassing to admit it, but this is pretty good hehe XD
Beautiful art, compelling story. Getting this for free is like finding a diamond on the street.
