Chronicles of the Fallen Realm

Great way to kill some time. This game is way more in depth than meets the eye, with lots of small features and a bunch of Heroes. You will find yourself trying to unlock them all. 10/10 would hang Malgrath a third time.

I don't care how much AI was used to make the game, it is fun, quite challenging but rewarding to play. It is enjoyable to try to finish a first run with the base classes and then unlock more classes and a legendary run which has meta progression improving skills for each class. Edit: Just found out that playing the legendary mode adds game mechanics in the fights rather than just monster stats making the game even better.

Great game in small bursts, especially if you like older turn-based RPGs. The first play is basically just a tutorial for the class you select. The real game is beating it on Legendary, where you need to upgrade everything as you keep trying and failing. Each run is only like 10 minutes once you understand the rules and the steps, but they get addictive. I finally beat it on legendary with my Mage after upgrading it over and over. I look forward to wasting time at work when I have a break by making Legendary runs with other classes.
