Ai has taken over The old stories are pretty good and the only reason I still have this app. Quality of app has gone downhill. The new stories are bottom of the barrel quality AI trash. I hate AI in general but this is the worst I’ve seen. They also have a scammy third party app for some of their newer apps for some reason? Either way would not recommended.

It’s a money grab I’ve been playing this game for years on and off some good storylines came from it in the beginning but everything now is pretty much AI down to the script and a pay to play question every few minutes. Don’t waste time or money.

TOO MUCH AI I’ve been playing choices since around when it started and have always loved it until it got bought out by a company that puts AI first and doesn’t listen to its customers. All of the new books just have AI images and AI writing. These new owners only care about money. No one asked for run tv slop. I loved Choices how it was before all of the steamy smut single LI stories that don’t offer any real choices that affect the story. No one needed “AI advancement” which is just destroying artists’ & writers’ jobs and also harming the environment. Not worth it. Bring the old Choices stories back.

Disappointed I have played Choices for years, and have been a VIP subscriber for much of that time. Not anymore. The last story I read, Scream For Me, was originally supposed to be a 16 chapter book, and it was then cut down to only 5. Nothing about it was wrapped up or finished, it was left hanging in the middle. They couldn’t even care to give us a finished story, and the amount of diamonds I spent on that book was atrocious for what I got. It had potential, but since PixelBerry was sold out and fired most of their artists and writers, it’s been an AI cash grab. Don’t even get me started on the next “story” Heroes 2. It’s all an ai show with no choices whatsoever. I’m so disappointed that I’ve canceled my subscription. If they can no longer care about giving me the quality of the stories I’m used to, then I no longer care about giving them the money they want. It was fun while it lasted.

Longtime fan I’ve been playing choices for over 5 years now. It’s been one of my favorite games. I love the stories, the characters, the inclusivity, and diversity it provides. I love so many of the stories from The Elementalists, Hot Shot (good for the heated rivalry lovers), Americas Most Eligible (for the love island lovers 🤭), and even Foreign Affairs (for the red white and blue lovers).

Wish they listened to the readers. There’s a very active Reddit full of people that I have been reading choices stories for over a decade who are very vocal about not liking any of the recent decisions that Choices had made in terms of story, art, etc. The original stories had so much heart. Now it’s all AI and soulless. I’ve sent a few messages and filled out some feedback forms across the years begging them not to go in the direction they have. It’s so sad to see all the love and effort the creators put into this app not be valued and then be let go of. I hope they can turn it around start doing things how they used to.

Disappointed This app has declined so much and it makes me upset. The old stories were so full of life with amazing art and writing, and now every story is ai slop. No more choice, no more quality. Cutting a 16 chapter story into 5 chapters and not even giving it an ending was a new low that actually shocked me. I’ll continue to reread the old stories, but I won’t spend money on this app again.

Used to be great This used to be my favorite app that I used daily for years. Now, it is unrecognizable. Ever since Series Entertainment bought it. It has gone downhill; most of the writers that everyone loved are gone. Now it ia just AI slop. This is just an imposter wearing the corpse of a once beloved app.

AI SLOP!! WARNING!! I have played this game for years and it is no longer even close to what it used to be. The use of generative AI for the new stories and art has destroyed the integrity and enjoyment of this app. The story lines are flat and the art is borderline copyrighted (look at the new “Hero” AI slop that Pixelberry was forced to delete because it was basically an AI-generated Captain Marvel). This game has completely lost its soul. It is no longer captivating or witty. I’m horribly disappointed in Pixelberry for these changes and for firing your talented writers and artists. They will likely respond to this review with a link that “explains their recent decisions”. Well, I have read that, and I am here to tell you that AI is not at all improving the gameplay, despite what the blogpost says. We don’t need stories “faster”. We need them created with the same love and care they always have been. Your users can tell. You say your “team of real people” are the ones training the AI. If that is so, where is the dang quality check?? Why are there so many flaws when it used to be near flawless?? Disgusting. Useless. Horribly disappointed.
