Charles the Bee

To bee fair, I'm not a rhythm game guy...But this is the cutest game ever. It would be a great intro into rhythm games, since even my derpy hands were able to manage the first few levels. The music is pretty good too.

For kids, it is probably a nice game? But, nah. The songs are short and underwhelming, and then rhythm game barely matches to the rhythm, which is one of the most important features in a rhythm

Charles the Bee is a rhythm-based dance game about an ordinary bee with an extraordinary dream — to become a dance master. To reach his goal, he must collect badges by defeating opponents in dance battles. Along the way, you will also need to harvest pollen to pay entrance fees. The base game is free, with a story mode that currently lasts about 30 minutes. Besides that, there's also an arcade mode and a DLC that adds six additional opponents, but its not free. The music and visuals are just average — neither bad nor particularly good. Overall, it's a pretty fun and short game that's worth trying out. Honestly an amazing game. Going into this game I expected the game to simply be a free asset swap and nothing more.. however to my pleasant surprise I was greeted with enjoyable game that was surprisingly full of content and satisfying game play. I do find it quite unfortunate the game was so short and a lot of content is locked behind DLC, if this was changed I do believe it would be more convincing for users to purchase the DLC as forcing the content in order to progress the story is a tactic that may deter users. I will admit I am very interested in the story so far, and look forward to seeing more content in the future and hoping for more free content possibly, or perhaps a consideration on the re-purpose of the DLC to not being required to get a proper ending to the story.
