Cereal Soup

I played this game only once and it was to spend a ridiculous amount of time creating an acidic green edgy marsupial and run around doing absolutely nothing. This seems to be quite the unfortunate reoccurring issue with what I sometimes call [b]void games[/b] or [b]void sims;[/b] for the empty and arguably existential vibe you get when playing them. Games that were clearly something once intended for greatness but you wander an empty plane of virtual existence instead. Especially animal void mmos, where they have very good customization and an expansive world and the main gameplay mechanic is to sit there and dissociate. There is often not much else to do in the game but chat if anything. But there are so many of these games. COUNTLESS games where you engage in minimal gameplay as an animal.. It is not a void that really needs to be filled. Perhaps it is for this reason that these games become void games. Often the only thing it would hope to have going for it is FeralHeart levels of MMORPG liveliness; simply socializing as a creature. It isn't an MMORPG when the playerbase is dead or all strangely antisocial. It was dead long before it was gone, and though it may be obsolete now, there's a certain kind of charm in that state of obsoletion, methinks. Like seeing a familiar face in lots of different people. I had way higher hopes for this game. I remember way back when during my feral heart playing days waiting for this game to come out and watching its progress on forums and DA. But the controls are just so bad. the camera fov is so sensitive and awful it jitters around. It's just more like a wannabe Feral heart with extra tidbits to make it seem better, overall just sad. More excited for unreal engine version of FH to come out.
