CDB6: A Maldição dos Zumbis

"CDB6: A Maldição dos Zumbis" is a garbage mobile app that was dumped on Steam for god knows what reason.. it's awful. It's an endless runner made for iPhones with MS-Paint graphics. This is precisely what gives amateur developers such a bad name. What do you do in the game? Endless running with a creepy high school theme as the developer imagines himself creeping around high schools as a grown man. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. This is a mobile app... it doesn't matter if this hit Steam Direct before the app stores rubberstamped it, or if it failed to even reach the app stores. This was made by mobile app "developers", and intended for the lowest common denominator in gaming, and it must be judged accordingly... there's no contemporary, modern PC gaming experience in mobile apps. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't invest thousands into bleeding edge gaming PCs so we can treat them like iPhones and play mobile apps. In terms of visuals, this features really godawful MS-Paint tier "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. The deplorably bad visuals here come across as an insult to gamers. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at [b]only 7 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? No way. This is just impossible to recommend to serious PC gamers. I didn't spend any money on this, but I still feel like I got scammed.
