Игра "Catgirl Chess" - это... неожиданный взгляд на классическую игру. Если вам когда-либо хотелось увидеть, как шахматные фигуры превращаются в милых (иногда чересчур) неко-девочек, то это ваш шанс. Геймплей, к счастью, полностью соответствует ожиданиям шахмат: правила соблюдены, ходы логичны, и победа требует стратегического мышления. Визуальный стиль специфический, но выполнен качественно. Модели кошко-девочек детализированы, а анимация плавная. Отдельно стоит отметить озвучку: фразы, которые произносят фигуры при совершении хода или взятии, добавляют игре абсурдности и, будем честны, особого шарма. Минусы? Если вы ярый консерватор и вас коробит от одной мысли о "нетрадиционном применении шахмат", то лучше проходите мимо. Игра не пытается быть чем-то большим, чем есть: это просто шахматы с кошко-девочками. Но если вы готовы к этому, то "Catgirl Chess" может стать неплохим развлечением на пару вечеров, а также отличным поводом для шуток с друзьями. Она не идеальна, но определенно запоминающаяся.

this is quite possibly the greatest game i have ever played in my life. the emaculate formation of catgirl chess allows for infinite possiblities and strategies in the gameplay of chess. the exquisite graphics and soundtrack of the game also add to the amazing atmosphere formed bhy thios masterpiece of a game. There is no doubt in my mind this will win game of the year, and if it somehow does not, it would haave been cheated, for this is the greatest game. my father was suffering from 99th stage cancer before he played this game and was cured. this game litterally preforms myricalls. thank you truly creator of catgirl chess for this magical experience and journey though the psycology of the human mind when givin a simple game of chess with catgirls.

This game has a lot going for it, but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't give just a few recommendations to make it better. For one the fact that "checking" the king doesn't do anything is a very interesting mechanic, I am not sure if there are different rules for the official catgirl version of chess that differs from the normal version of chess. But it's something to think about. Me and my friend both wish we could customize, she was very sad to discover that this game does not allow her to change her catgirl to her liking. Finally the texture of the chess set makes it very hard to see the pieces well as white, so I think a change there is needed. But this is a very good game and I would recommend it to my close enemies. 11/10 would play regular chess again :)
