An incomplete g****ge game that should have been an expansion for Modern Warfare II in 2022.
Still, it's not the worst Call of Duty I've played .....after Call of Duty Black Ops 7.
1. The story in Modern Warfare III has an intriguing scenario, but it's poorly adapted into a first-person shooter that feels low-budget even compared to Call of Duty Ghosts from 2013.
The Modern Warfare reboot series was meant to be a failed arch because they tried to remake the classic Modern Warfare trilogy in a Rainbow Six Siege + Battlefield 1, with characters taken from the original trilogy, like Captain Price, Soap, Ghost, Shepard and Makarov, and modified a little bit.
Maybe if it had been made with a different title, with new, different characters, better mechanics, and set in the war in Ukraine, it would have been a great game.
2. Gameplay: There are some memorable missions like the one with the Reactor, Gora Dam and the infiltration of a Russian oligarch's residence that have the vibe of the atmosphere of the war in Ukraine. But the ones with the Gulag, Crash Site, Frozen Tundra and the attack on the Stadium in Verdansk feels copied from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) missions.
3. Graphics: It's the same buggy graphics engine with glitchy animations and movements from 2019 that destroy any shred of immersion. The characters that look photorealistic are soulless compared to how the characters looked in the original Call of Duty 4 from 2007.
4. Multiplayer: there's no point in bothering. What should I play? Same Zombies mod recycled from Black Ops and multiplayer with stars and animated characters as operators? Nah.
5. The Audio is fine, voice acting are enough masculine, but there are not catching phrases like the Modern Warfare original trillogy had. Music - same dupstep trash like MW 2019 and MW 2022 that make your ears bleeding.
My Recommendation: I thought I took advantage of buying the game for only 38 euros instead of 70 euros, with -45%. But I still feel robbed. So avoid it at all costs even is 10 euros.
Play Modern Warfare 3 from 2011 instead, which has WW3 and epic action scenes and missions in New York, Paris, London, etc., even if the graphics feel a bit dated.
And if you want realistic, tactical warfare, I suggest Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 - even the stories in those games are better than what this c**p can deliver.
