It's still CoD. If for a second you think and believe that they won't bring the stuff you hate into it, I have a bank account you can let me hold onto your money for you.
Enjoying it before the slop
Lowk impressed somehow

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time during the first MW4 Beta week, though there are some warts to be aware of. So far all of the guns have been very enjoyable and punchy, and the variety is very pleasing thus far and the Apex attachments can range from funny, turning the Han 86 into an OICW (lol), to being a nice little utility such as the ISO Nightshade's Trace attachment. If you are a gun nerd, you will be able to turn certain guns like the Kastov 762 into it's 545 counter part. The game is visually impressive and pleasing but I can't really discern a huge graphical difference between the last 2 Modern Warfare entries. I saw some of their dev diaries where they touted that motion blur and depth of field being good because it won't disrupt the target when aiming, but it disrupts the target, and on top of that there's a lot of visual noise on the hit feedback effects like smoke and blood. It looks a lot less grainy with those effects, but it's still not a totally clear picture. The maps are a mix of good and bad. I can't remember all of their names, but my favorite so far is Lotus for all the chaotic firefights that can happen at multiple places during the match. Kill block is also super cool, and no match is the same. It's a ton of fun experiencing a 10v10 gunfight and it's just total chaos in the best way possible. The smaller maps have awful spawning where you will just get killed immediately after spawning in, and have no chance to fight. The movement is my biggest gripe and it's not that it doesn't feel great to use, it's that it just feels like a watered down omni movement at times. It sometimes feels like if you're not sweating your ass off bunny hopping and diving as much as possible, you won't get kills. MW2(022) was, in my opinion, the perfect balance between fast movement and grounded movement. MW3 leaned into it being faster, but had a lot of bunny hopping. Every match I have playing has at least one person hopping around like a mad man, slide canceling around corners and taking my head off. I genuinely can't tell if it's aim assist being TOO over tuned, or cheaters. Overall it is a VERY promising entry in the Modern Warfare series of CoD games, and I am stoked for the full release and DMZ!
