My all time favorite after Black Ops 2
Veteran on old black ops campaigns is good is you have a torture fetish
Obra de arte!!
(campaign only review) gameplay was pretty good, you constantly fight in different settings like in vietnam then in russia and theres also some fun vehicle missions. best missions were the hong kong and arctic base mission where you fight the nazis for the last time as a call back to world at war. however some scripted parts were kinda buggy like jumping over obstacles and also the screen shake is almost enough to give you a seizure. the story was not as good as cod WaW, but WaW is mostly real history instead of black ops's original story. the main problem with this game is that it costs $40, double of WaW even though WaW is probably the better game, also even during sale it is only 50% off when it should be like $10 or less.
top 5 shooter game oat
Black Ops multiplayer is what happens when Treyarch bottles pure addiction and disguises it as "just one more match." The maps are legendary, the weapons feel fantastic, and every Prestige reset was basically admitting you enjoyed suffering enough to start all over again. Nuketown became a second home, Firing Range created lifelong rivalries, and somewhere out there someone is still convinced the FAMAS was perfectly balanced. The killstreaks were rewarding without feeling ridiculous, progression kept you hooked, and the gameplay struck that perfect balance between arcade action and controlled chaos. Then there were the lobbies. No AI moderation. No filters. Just absolute anarchy. If you survived a Black Ops lobby in 2010, you've probably developed the emotional resilience of a concrete bunker. Black Ops multiplayer wasn't just one of Call of Duty's best - it was an entire generation's personality test, where friendships were forged, controllers were launched, and everyone's mum somehow ended up being the most talked-about person in the lobby.
no split screen co-op neither x-box controllers worked in either the main menu or the game, 40 dollar game i played 10+ years ago for 20 dollars with an x-box controller. god i can't pray hard enough for ACTi vision to go out of business!
