It's a decent enough game for being free. You can easily get at least one of the endgame cakes by simply spam clicking, and the physics are a bit off sometimes, but overall it's a pretty good puzzle game and those two qualities can actually make it pretty challenging. I only have a few notes about changes that I'd like to see in the future, if at all possible. I don't specialize in this though, so grain of salt and all that. -The initial 2 cake pops in the stages of cake creation are too similar in shape, size, and color so it might be helpful for players if one of them was green or something. -The game audio doesn't seem to be capable of fully muting, just turning really low. -It would be convenient if the player's camera position would be remembered for the next attempt, or if it was just automatically positioned as high as possible by default. I find the current default position basically useless. That's really all I'd change. It's a good enough time, check it out for yourself
This game got me caked up This is solely because they added impossible achievements
I 100% this in under 30 minuets!
"Cake Game" is basically a ripoff of Suika, the Japanese mobile phone/Flash game where you drop fruit in a bucket. What do you do in the game? Just like Suika but with cakes, and in 3D, you have a deep glass bowl and you drop cakes in. The goal is to get two cakes of the same type to touch together, where, just like Suika, they combine to form a slightly larger cake. Which you then also try to combine to make an even bigger cake type. This is not how baking works. Bakers don't make wedding cakes by throwing a whole bunch of cupcakes into a bucket. Is it too hard to ask for a little realism in gaming? Anyway this is pretty mediocre and like all the other Suika ripoffs, the game physics are bad and the fun wears off after 5 minutes. Being 3D rendered makes this probably one of the better Suika ripoffs on Steam, but you don't get any awards for being the best looking guy in the burns ward. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay $100 and publish junk through Steam Direct. Yeah, you can. Is this good for gamers? Nope. The assets look a little mismatched but they're also much higher quality than the actual game. It's a bit of a red flag for an asset flip, but there's no evidence or smoking gun in this case. While there's no proof, the overall low quality of the actual "game" part (an important part of the whole package that makes up a game) is indistinguishable from an asset flip, and no matter where the assets came from, the quality here is bad. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free, that was a dismal public reception. But if you take into account the problems I bring up in this review, it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options. Finally, I'm here to help save gamers time by filtering out the noise and substandard games. If you don't agree with my assessment of the defects in this game, go ahead and download it... maybe you'll find the same defects to be as unacceptable as I did, maybe not. Even write your own review. Positive or negative, game reviews are here to help other gamers by informing their decisions on what to spend their time on.

It's fun for about 10 minutes and then the novelty kinda wears off. If you're easily amused then you could probably play this for hours but its not for me.
