An old-school, satirical game in the vein of classic Japanese console RPGs. Features talking beavers and Media Moguls.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
A media mogul teams up with witches, a brave beaver, and the United States Marine Corps to take down a dark wizard who's stinking up the joint. A sequel to the classic film The Citizen Kane.
C. Kane is a satirical short form (2-3 hours) turn-based RPG originally released in September 2013 that streamlines the genre to its basics; fighting monsters, talking to people, playing dress up. Dungeons are minimalist, graphics are monochrome. Random battles are no more, bosses are numerous. A Shark guides the way. An original hip hop soundtrack provides the beats. Music by Glock & mr8bit.
Warning: Contains rude language, mild monochrome blood, and ugly monsters.

The Game is boring. The other characters I got were marines who were both the same and somehow better designed than the main character in terms of abilities. Level 3 shark fight is mader very hard on purpose as it wants you to grind the level 2 until you get at least 500 money. The quests are just constant repeats of themsevles for the start making me not even play the rest of the game. Also the music and games humor is realy overused.
Boring, too hard, seems to depend primarily on pop culture/references for the "humor", meandering and not very fun. Some interesting artwork but that's about it, I know why this is free now.

It was acceptable.
What an interesting little game. Love the humor, you can tell the dev enjoyed the work. I've only played for 30 minutes so far, but I could easily see myself playing the whole game through.
