Bung ball has changed my life. Before I played bung ball, I was broke, I was poor, living on the streets with no home, friends, or balls. Now, that I have played bung ball, everything is different. I manifest money like it's my job. I'm a wizard and my only spell is Greater Cash Flow. This is all thanks to bung ball, thank you Slap Chicken Games you have changed my life #bungball4eva
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"Bung Ball" is a deplorably bad "joke" game dumped on Steam with the desperate hope of "going viral" because the quality is garbage. Seriously, that's the game plan... push a minimum viable product on Steam Direct for $100 and get internet famous for stealing public domain concepts and putting their own name on them. What do you do in the game? Nothing, this a dead PvP game with no players. If you could play it, it's a mashup of top down arena shooter/rolling ball physics game template. Seriously, no effort went into actually making a game here. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. A peak of 10 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead. Note: Joke reviews Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, mocking the game for just how bad it is. The comedians give us the usual "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" story... sarcastic, but not useful if you want to know if the game is worth it. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, the positive review score for this game should not be considered an accurate representation of the quality of the game.
This is my life.
