Crew THE MULE, a colossal drilling machine, with up to three friends and descend into the whispering earth. Man the instruments, sortie into the dark for the specimens the Bureau wants, and shut the door before what heard you gets inside. Sell. Descend deeper. Try to come back up.

About

BORE is a 1–4 player co-op survival-horror extraction game. Your crew serves THE MULE, a colossal drilling machine boring down through a stratified, whispering earth: the Fill, the Old Sea, the Ossuary, and, if the tribute demands it, the Hush. 4 unique procedurally generated underground biomes. The Bureau calls what you owe it the tribute. The Bureau is politely inflexible about it.

Someone watches the survey plot. Someone rides the throttle and the coolant. Someone works the winch, the klaxon, the dig door. The instruments are physical, the cabin is loud, and the deeper you drill, the richer and louder the specimens.

Set the hold, take a lantern, open the door. Out there: mineral nodes, loose relics, and twenty kinds of things that hear you mining. You are not armed. Your tools are light, noise, and nerve. Flares, sonar, stun-caps, a boarding spade. Light is your weapon; noise is your debt.

The longer you linger, the hotter the dig gets. Haul what you can carry, slam the door on what follows, and make the only decision that matters: winch out and sell or descend deeper, where everything is worth more and everything is worse.

Sell your haul topside, spend it at the Stores which has 31 shelf rows of dubious equipment. Install the odd implant, and if a coworker doesn't make it, carry them home and feed them to the deposit pit. Nothing is wasted.

Online co-op for 1–4 with proximity voice. Walkie-talkies and the cabin PA carry your voice further; some things hunt by it
