About
A casual musical idler. Ideal for background sounds while focusing on study or work.
Leave it on in the background to help with focus, or get mesmerized by the pendulum as it creates polyrhythms.
Squares move up and down playing notes and awarding 'bonk bucks' when changing directions. Once you get enough 'bonk bucks', you can buy more squares. Once you get 100 'bonk bucks', you can prestige to add a multiplier to every bonk. Then you can spend the multiplier to unlock more features such as other scales and instruments. Once you get a whole bunch of multiplier you can unlock the Creative Mode which allows custom scales, speed change, and setting the number of blocks directly.
Features:
Custom pitch
Echo Squares
Auto-Purchase Squares
14 different instruments
Mutiple scales
Creative Mode - custom scale, speed, and number of squares

Even after closing the game it continues to run in the background with out permissions.
relaxing game. is a really good background thing to have if you have adhd. was able to study and tab over to this game from time to time to add more stuff. if you're looking for things to do. this isnt it. you max out in less than a hour. and im not musically inclined enough to do anything with creative mode. but still a cool download for background tasking
Nice relaxing idler, super satisfying when the notes sync up. This was covered as part of this week's episode of Free2Play Weekly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1m4-LHqPgQ&t=1468

Bonk is more than a game, it's an entire vibe.
not worth your time
Cute polyrythm idler, I like having it on in the background whenever I need some background noise but don't have enough energy to watch a youtube video and don't necessarily want to listen to music, just soothing sounds
I can see the vision behind it however this one just isn't for me, partially because I have a vast personal library of music to choose from when I need it, and partially because while one can create pleasant melodies after getting far enough there's the issue of getting to that point first. But I do still like this, and while there were some issues in the early days these seem to have been fixed by the time I got around to trying this game out (early April, 2025). This a neat little tool/idle game that is entirely free, so why not try it?
its a solid 5/0.263718928391
