Finally, a simple addictive game i can play on my steamdeck

BODYguard: CellWars – Quick Review Fun little fast-paced shooter where you play as an immune cell blasting waves of bacteria and viruses. Controls are simple and precise, and the short runs make it great for quick sessions. The visuals are clean, and the small upgrades keep you coming back for “just one more round.” It’s not a deep roguelike, more of a light, casual action game. Recommendation: If you’re looking for a casual arcade-style shooter to kill some time, this one’s definitely worth a try. 👍

This game captures the nostalgia of mobile shooter games setting it in a microscopic world. You play as an immune cell, fighting off hordes of enemies that try to infect the body. Through the game you encounter various interesting enemies [spoiler], the bosses especially having surprising skills, keeping the battles fresh [/spoiler]. The controls are intuitive and the skills from the shop help you a lot with the challenges you face. I especially liked the endless mode that brings a twist to the original gameplay, introducing a roguelite progression. Every time you hop into the endless mode you feel the urge to beat your previous high score. Overall I recommend this game. If you love quick sessions that test your reflexes and keep you coming back for just one more run, this game will hit the spot.
