I'm normally the type of person to get motion sickness in VR, so I was convinced I'd get sick here. Somehow I'm not, though. I dunno what you did, but I'm able to fly around and do all kinds of maneuvers with no problems at all. Eagerly awaiting multiplayer so I have something to shoot at!
"Blueshift" is a pointless abandoned Early Access VR tech demo. What do you do in the game? There's nothing to really do, you just fly around in VR. The developer walked away at an early stage in development and left this pre-alpha junk on Steam to pollute the place and make it harder for ethical devs who make complete games in good faith find their audience, because gamers have to wade through all this abandoned garbage in search of those games. The developers abandoned this 8 years and 2 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. It's free for now, but the developer intends to charge for this if it ever leaves Early Access... but considering the poor public reception, it's likely this will not be one of the 25% of games that ever gets finished and leaves Early Access. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

I got this game when I was a kid, but I pretty much got bored of it because it has no activity, and ever since Steam got updated, the gold-colored text under the early access box says it all. "The last update made by the developers was over 8 years ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date."
This is a cancelled projected on it's very early stages. It's such a shame this game wasn't fully developed as I can see it's potential. It's so fun to fly around shooting things. From the menus it'd have been a multiplayer game. Hopefully one day this project will be picked up again
Жена сказала, что если на этом обзоре наберётся 10 лайков и 5 наград, то она подарит ящик пива. Мужики, выручайте!
A hidden Gem, As it would seem I've spent quite some time racing around Blueshift, hitting top speeds of well over +1000khm blasting through the maps and rocket jumping around. It's been a great game to play when you just want to listen to tunes and feel like a bird. Why so much time? Well from the first moment I played Blueshift felt a sensation I was actually flying, that mixed with some certain drugs my experience was taken to higher levels, ka ka ka. But no seriously, put some good tunes on, get some drugs, and figure out how to get out of the map. You'll spend a lot more time appreciating the game. DM me if you want to know how! :3

This is barely a tech demo.
