In the past year the new story content releases have became significantly worse in quality and now with the new changes to the gatcha system this game is simply no longer worth playing, especially so for new players. Your ability to catch up has been neutered and I can no longer recommend this game to anyone thinking of picking it up today. The time to start playing this game was in it's golden age three years ago, that time has now long since passed.

Cute game but ♥♥♥♥ greed and EA, spend your money on a pizza or something instead of pleasing these pigs

Have been playing this game since the 2nd day of its release back in 2021 and I've logged in almost every single day since. I genuinely love this game even though I never spent a single dime on it. But these recent gacha changes? I genuinely hope with every cell in my body that this game fking fails and reach EoS immediatly if the devs seriously think this is a good idea. It's literally a bad changes overall for how most people actually play the game. Most players save their Pyro for multiple banners because they constantly releases multiple good or even meta heavy characters together. The only time this new changes work is if you're unlucky enough to keep missing the rate-up and you only want 1 character. Will I stop playing? Prolly not. Truly the fall of Blue Archive.

TL;DR: They did a major changes to the game's gacha system. While global is somewhat behind by a few months, expect it to come soon. Let this be a lesson to any Gacha games out there: DO NOT MESS WITH YOUR GACHA SYSTEM. A Gacha game's community is basically built by players who tolerate the game's gacha system. During a JP livestream, the developers made an announce that there will be changes to the gacha system. A a few changes to the current system would have been been fine, but they basically changed it to a different model. Scummiest part was, the changes were announced A FEW DAYS BEFORE IT DROPPED. One would think that they'll announce such major change weeks, heck even months prior to such major changes. Global might be behind a few months, but it can take changes from the JP region earlier while still remaining on-schedule with its content drop. Don't be surprised if the changes to the gacha system come earlier to Global.
