Bloody Service

This game is pretty fantastic, the writing is great and the cinematic feeling reminded me of a David Cronenberg movie.The mood is very similar at least. The mood is amplified by the great graphic style that masterfully mixes FMV with 3D renders. It's a very simple interactive text adventure with limited choices and what I imagine to be different outcomes. I like to think that the best way to play these games is to stick to just one conclusion and not try to explore the whole tree. That's my philosophy. Like life, just accept what outcome you get and ruminate on how it made you feel. Well to each their own. That's how I like to play these games. It takes a bit less than one hour to reach the conclusion but it's a very tense time. The game just doesn't wait after you, and drags you around like the weak good boy protagonist of a typical Cronenberg or Lynch movie, suddenly confronted to the cruelty of humanity. It's a great artistic artifact and that's how you should approach it.
