The game was super worth 55cents the fact is its super halarius and if you are on a call with a friend who is also playing it can get super enjoyable worth your time if you need to buy something cheap so you can use the steam market.
Bloody Faerie is a stripped-down survival shooter that builds its identity around a deliberately unusual premise—modern weaponry unleashed against waves of fantasy creatures. Developed and published by EJRGames, it positions itself as a straightforward, wave-based experience where the focus is less on narrative or progression and more on moment-to-moment combat. From the outset, it’s clear that the game is not aiming for complexity or polish, but rather a simple loop that players can jump into without much preparation. The core gameplay revolves around surviving increasingly difficult waves of enemies within a procedurally generated environment. Players spawn into a large map, gather weapons and ammunition, and fend off incoming threats that range from small, fast-moving creatures to larger, more durable foes. The structure is easy to understand and immediately accessible, with no complicated systems standing between the player and the action. As waves progress, enemies become more numerous and aggressive, creating a steady escalation that pushes players to adapt and stay mobile. Occasional boss encounters add a bit of variation, though they do not significantly change the overall rhythm of the experience. Exploration plays a minor but present role in the gameplay loop. The environment is expansive, allowing players to roam freely in search of better weapons or safer positions. However, while the map’s procedural generation provides a sense of scale, it often lacks meaningful variety. Areas tend to repeat similar patterns, with forests, open fields, and scattered structures offering little distinction from one another. This can make exploration feel more like a necessity than a reward, as the world rarely introduces surprises or memorable landmarks. Combat, which is the centerpiece of the game, is functional but limited in depth. Weapons handle in a straightforward manner, providing basic shooting mechanics without much nuance or feedback. Enemy behavior is similarly simple, often relying on direct movement toward the player rather than more complex tactics. This simplicity makes the game easy to pick up, but it also means that encounters can become predictable after a short time. The lack of variety in both enemies and combat scenarios contributes to a sense of repetition, especially during longer sessions. One of the more noticeable aspects of Bloody Faerie is its minimal approach to storytelling. The game offers only a vague premise and quickly shifts all attention to gameplay, leaving players without a strong narrative framework to contextualize their actions. There are no developed characters, evolving plotlines, or environmental storytelling elements to add depth to the experience. For some players, this absence may not matter, as the game clearly prioritizes action, but it does limit the overall sense of immersion and purpose. Visually, the game reflects its modest scope. The graphics are serviceable, with a style that feels reminiscent of older or more basic shooter titles. Environments and character models are functional but lack detail, and animations are simple, focusing on clarity rather than flair. Sound design follows a similar approach, with repetitive effects that provide necessary feedback without adding much atmosphere. While these elements do not hinder gameplay directly, they do reinforce the impression of a project that prioritizes simplicity over presentation. Despite its shortcomings, Bloody Faerie can still offer a certain kind of appeal. Its straightforward design makes it easy to engage with in short bursts, and the wave-based structure provides a clear, immediate goal. For players looking for a low-commitment shooter that doesn’t demand extensive time or attention, it can serve as a casual diversion. The unusual premise also gives it a bit of personality, even if that concept is not fully explored. Ultimately, Bloody Faerie is a game that delivers exactly what it presents on the surface—a simple survival shooter with minimal complexity. It does not aim to innovate or expand beyond its core loop, and as a result, it struggles to maintain long-term interest. While it may provide some short-lived entertainment, its lack of depth, variety, and polish prevents it from standing out in a crowded genre. Rating: 6/10
that's a 9/10 for now, I will put a 10/10 when I could drive those of the cars on the road to kill the bosses really, what a game where you can litterally find an ak47 on a crashed but you can't actually drive a car
This is a game that has a wave system where you have to take out magic creatures. The problem is that I didn't really know how to shop for ages and for some reason I don't keep the mouse inside the game (there are no other settings either). For the price, definitely easy achievements.
3/10
Long, nul , les mobs ont trop de vie et on a pas assez de munition, jeu a minuscule budget, je lui donne la note de 2,5 sur 10..
