I love the storyline and the art. Its a fine piece
It's been a while since I've played a VN, but I'm glad I picked this one up. It becomes pretty obvious from the get go that a lot of love went into making this. The lightly futuristic world the game happens in seems like a lot of effort went into creating it. The visuals and the soundtrack work in harmony to set the atmosphere 'just right'. And the script? --> It's solid. It's good. Guess I'll have to play some more to see another ending. First run took me ~3 hours.

One person did all the art, writing, music, design and tech for this? Dope. Blake: The Visual Novel tackles an old tale for the modern era. There are engaging characters, a mystery that keeps you curious throughout the experience, and choices that rewards you with information. If you like mystery and don't mind reading, give this a go. As of writing this today, this project will not be receiving new chapters. Bummer. Well, I'm hoping one day, that will change. Hey, we got Resident Evil 4 Remake in 2023, about 18 years after the original release (2005). So, who knows?
I'm yet to finish this but oh boy is it good! This is the first visual novel I've tried out so I don't have anything to compare it to, but the writing is clever, the artwork is excellent and it's an absolute joy to experience. It's set the bar high! Would definitely recommend :)
Starts out okay, but as the novel progresses, the random plot element starts to pile up dangerously high, eventually leading to a nonsensical ending that fails to explain much. It seems the developer run out of time halfway through development and had to rush the second half just to deliver the product. Nice art though. 3/10
This is a great game! It was very interesting getting to know all of the characters and the story line held together nicely! I finished the game in a little under three hours but only unlocked 7 of the 14 achievements and I believe I failed at the primary objective so I think there is a lot that I didn’t explore. I really enjoyed my visit into the world of Blake!
Not my usual type of game. I've enjoyed the little quirks and attention to detail to the characters. Still at stage figuring out what the story is all about. No signs of "in your face" commentary so far.
The fact that one person made this is VERY impressive. From reading the developers notes it's very easy to see that the person who made this suffers from classic imposter syndrom. He/she can't see their own talents. I'm only a little bit in but clearly you were meant make video games and I really hope you continue on your life's mission because it's a real shame to see talent go to waste just because some random people on the internet spew their negativity all over the place, I really hope you get back in there, learn from what ever mistakes you may or may not of made, adjust, adapt, grow and stick with it. Remember that it's the journey not destination that matters. Doing what you love is a rare and precious gift, don't give it up. Good Luck
I don't usually like futuristic visual novels.
