BioShock™ Remastered

Great gameplay as someone who played it in 2026, but not a very great critique of Objectivism. It’s more like: there is always one psychopath who uses the system to gain power at any cost and turns a utopia into a dystopia. Ultimately it's critique of mankind rather than anything else. Also didn't experience any crashes.

As lovable and memorable as the original [i]BioShock™[/i] was, this remastered version of it truly demonstrates how terribly the game has aged, as nearly a decade later there are still audio dropouts and loops, visual glitches that polygonize various models during cutscenes, and no real quality-of-life updates other than randomly adding and then briefly removing the 2K launcher soon after. There are few selling points for a classic that is way past its prime in gameplay mechanics, and a story that many have already become familiar with and loved decades ago. Now, this product is yet another IP for 2K to sit on.
