This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game requires a ♥♥♥♥ significant amount of labor. For example, "Training". To train the hired employees, you must press the training button once for each individual employee. A large factory requires more than 100 workers. The worker's initial proficiency level is around 10 to 25. To train them to a level of 90 or higher, you need at least eight days of training. That means you have to click the button for "8 days" over 100 times. It’s a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pain in the ass.

If I could rate this game higher than a "yes" I would probably rate it a 6 out of 4. It was all I could think about. Every shop in real life I walked in to all I could think about was how much money I would be making per day if I owned it in BigAmbitions. I started asking to speak with every owner. How much money they were making per day. I wanted to know if they had an importer or simply local delivery. Did they need to do delivery drives when they first started? Did their staff have gold insurance? This game made me look at life differently. Does every business owner rent an apartment? I bought out every competitor. Not just my rivals that I had feuds with. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. I left them with nothing and their loss was my gain. I finally understand Musk and Bezos. I want to own EVERYTHING. and stop at NOTHING.

It's pretty good! I can't really keep playing deeper into the game at this point, though. The UI is just a bit too clunky to do the kind of massive scaling I would need to. Like to set up a new factory, I have to manually assign shifts for the 4 people on each machine across 16 machines because the auto-assigner makes crazy decisions that would jeopardize employee health. Scrolling through the list of warehouses / factories and headquarters is difficult to find all the right places and people, there are no sort options on those. Making changes to logistics networks often causes them to be reset, so I can't just say "deliver to this warehouse now" without having to set all the numbers again, and there are no copy-paste options there. I have to manually set the opening hours every time I open a shop, so I have to flick back and forth between some other shop to see what hours I set there. The default blueprints for buildings can't really be previewed in-depth, so you don't know exactly what kind of factories are gonna be made. You also can't do previews over the phone, so good luck remembering what the difference between 'competitive' and 'modern' means. It's a bunch of things that aren't too bad on their own, but when you get to the point where you have enough funds to open several large factories, offices, and retail locations, it just gets too unwieldy for me to continue on with. I had fun up until this point, though, and will keep an eye on the patches going forward!

This game has systematically taken over my life for the last few weeks. All I can think about is what my next business should be and how I should strategically grind so that I can crush my rivals' hopes and dreams. I'm on the path to finally setting up my own factories. And I am also getting closer to buying my 1st McMansion in the Hamptons. Shoutout to the devs for putting in the work to make this game jam-packed with the highs and lows of being a fictional entrepreneur. Buy this game and enjoy the ride to becoming the King/Queen of NYC. Ambition big, but dream even bigger!
