BEWBEWBEW can be boiled down to these 5 steps: 1. Use your mouse to position your cursor. 2. Push LMB or a different key to use abilities. 3. Hit creatures with abilities to color them. 4. Push space to launch the creatures you just colored at your opponent. 5. Repeat until you or your opponent dies. And that's really all there is to it. Underneath its cutesy artstyle and chill soundtrack, BEWBEWBEW is a decently challenging experience. Things start to get serious at level 14, and I understand if it makes you want to uninstall the game. But, seeing your opponent get decimated with more than enough spawn to kill them is probably worth it. What makes this game fun for me is the sheer variety of things in it. There are all kinds of characters with different stats and approaches to how you attack spawn (the aforementioned "creatures"). Some characters, like Doggie (the game's "mascot") have straightforward abilities that do high damage, but don't have a wide reach. Meanwhile, other characters have moves that require more planning, but can potentially color large swaths of spawn. Battles have different conditions that can influence how the game is played, and sometimes, you don't need to defeat your opponent to win a battle. Even the spawn themselves come in different types, most are fodder for your abilities, others make more spawn and require more time and effort to convert, and some are downright obstacles you must simply avoid. Although this game is solid as it is, it doesn't have multiplayer yet, which is a bit of a shame since multiplayer would be perfect. There are also a few glitches here and there. Overall, BEWBEWBEW is a great game that requires some strategy. Can't wait until multiplayer is implemented.
