Berserk B.I.T.S

This is a cool semi-idle game that seems to have some interesting depth to it. For the price and experience it seems worth it. I keep saying "seems" because the game does not work on Linux. Only way I have gotten it to run is to set compatibility to GE-Proton, and while that will get it to launch and run (sometimes), the game is clearly not designed to run on linux. The program appears to grab focus multiple times a second, disallowing alt-tab and utilizing any other program, which really defeats the purpose of a mostly-idle game.

achievement hunters 0/10 - as these take way too long to obtain avoid if youre only here for this purpose normal game players 6/10 - this idler (cant say its a game fully as i only have to touch it to reset loops or buy things) has some issues...the power scaling is very wild, theres a few chips if you get them early it just makes the need to keep an eye on your game irrelevant even at late game, speaking of late game/mid game, the level recommendations for each of the levels are very and i mean very far off, i was destroying main story stuff that was 40+ levels higher than me and then event world i was 30 levels higher than recommend and would have to hawkeye the screen just to make sure i could scrape by or get utterly destoryed, most of the chips need reworked as most rely on rng or is flat cheeks, considering its an idler and the enemy moves at super speeds and weird patterns if you plan on using blades you cant even really idle also idle itsself loves to waste chips once youve defeated a board for some reason or target an enemy who died but their sprite hasnt disappeared fast enough, i do like the visuals, chip designs and my love for megaman will always make me weak when it comes to things even remotely close to it, that being said the main factors for this is alot like a creature collector and people who love to grind.....theres tonsssss of grind, aside from that if you just wanted to do the main story it is quite short and easy once youve obtained the 3 imo insanely great chips (dont even really gotta look at the screen once this is met not even for bosses) , also you will need to refer to the wiki to see any type of information for anything as some of the toys (even tho they specify they boost those types of chips) apparently do nothing, if this is a glitch or not im not sure but nothing has been said about it also the available information even on there is just as vague as the in game descriptions, 100% boost sometimes boosts nothing it seems? other times the only thing that gets boosted is the duration or buff/debuff stacks and sometimes just the damage, you just kind of upgrade stuff and find out as you go through testing, cool thing tho the dev (while i havent joined it so im not sure how hostile/friendly/welcoming they are) does stuff on discord to give people a chance to help design auras and things for completing things in the game which i think is super cool, i hope one day these get fixed, things get balanced and the game overall continues to grow with new areas and chips or something (last note, if someones like "hey toxic your hours at the time is 170 hours how is this game short?) the answer is i been grinding to get all of the trophies in game (achievements outside of the game) so its alot of bloated grind duration, if this game costed more than 7$ i wouldnt recommend it in its current state but since it is 7$ without sale if ur looking for a grindy game this will fill your collection void for abit
