I experienced this app on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers So, there's lots of jokes to be made in the review section for this game. However, this app takes homelessness serious and hopefully, so do the reviewers. This is a mostly cinematic experience, with very limited interactiveness. You basically point at objects with your hand (motion controller) and press trigger. You also gaze at certain things. There are three main scenarios. The first is you're being evicted from your apartment after not being able to pay rent because you've been laid off from your job. The second scenario is you're living in your vehicle, when a cop rolls up on you. Lastly, you are in a city bus at night where other homeless take shelter. You hear very brief stories on how other homeless people ended up in their predicament. I think the experience could have been made grittier. It could have been made with better graphics. There could have been a more detailed story of your homeless experience. But it's free. It's a student project. Download if you think this might interest you.

best game of 2021
Me and my group used this game for a project for our high school psychology project. Sadly we weren't able to finish it do to Covid, but either way it's quite a nice game for getting people to empathize with the homeless, and the study behind it is very interesting. To the creators of this game and makers of this study, good job, and you certainly gave me and my group a good time trying to recreate it on our own.
Don't 10 mins. waste of time.
