Well met, weary traveler, as we embark upon the realm of Steam reviews, where wisdom and whimsy intertwine like the strands of a chaotic potion. But fret not, for I bring forth not just a review, but a prophecy of the future, a glimpse into the alternate dimension where games are played with spoons and controllers are but relics of the past. The Steam Reviewer's Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse: Step 1: Preparation Gather thy provisions: a trusty keyboard, a mouse with a steady click, and a screen that reflects the depths of your soul. For in the digital wasteland, these shall be your faithful companions, steadfast in the face of crashing servers and endless loading screens. Step 2: Navigation Navigate through the desolate landscape of Early Access titles and abandoned forums. Beware the trolls and the false prophets, for they lurk in the shadows like loot-hungry goblins, ready to snatch your sanity at every turn. Keep a wary eye out for the lurking bots and the cheaters, those foul creatures that pollute the purity of our gaming realm. Step 3: Adaptation Adapt to the ever-changing world of patches and updates. Embrace the glitches, for they are but quirks in the grand tapestry of gaming. Like a skilled alchemist, turn these mishaps into moments of triumph, for victory tastes sweeter when earned through adversity. Step 4: Collaboration Forge alliances with fellow survivors, for in unity lies strength. Together, we shall weather the storm of microtransactions and loot boxes, standing tall against the tide of pay-to-win villains like noble knights in a digital crusade. Step 5: Celebration Celebrate the victories, no matter how small, with the gusto of a bard recounting tales of old. For in the darkest of dungeons, even a single achievement shines like a legendary artifact, a testament to your courage and tenacity. And thus, dear reader, I bestow upon thee this humble offering, a guide to navigate the treacherous waters of Steam and emerge victorious on the other side. May your framerates be high and your loading times short. Until we meet again, keep gaming on, fellow travelers. Keep gaming on.

"BEAT 'EM DOWN" is a sincerely made attempt at trying to make a shooter rhythm game, which has been done before by AAA studios and it was a bad idea for them, and it's a much worse idea when you marry that terrible idea to amateur tier technical delivery. The lack of polish, low poly assets and general poor gameplay here is a firm deterrent for all. Basically, Quake does not need to be more Guitar Hero. It's a bad idea. It ends badly. This is not fun. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this don't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, that's nothing.
I thought the negative reviews were from a skill issue... nope the game is is janky the beat is not synced with the combo thing about all this game has is a unique idea.
Could use some optimisation, and sync with music. But a part from that very nice. A good alternative is probably 'beat aim' tho
Mogło być lepiej, gra ma częste problemy z BPM
wont reccomend
knock off BPM
pełno błędów. nie ma na co wydać punkty. skomplikowane dodawanie map
It's out of sync and half of the time (every other few seconds) the mouse doesn't work. My mouse works on other games. Out of sync means even when I click at the right time to get bonuses, it won't give the bonuses. Sometimes, i get 100 in a row and sometimes, I can't get 2 in a row for a few seconds. I do well at other song-based games so I think the discrepancy is inconsistency in the game rather than inconsistency in my ability.
