After Playing Batman Arkham Asylum My Expectations Were Very High For This And After Finishing It I Should Say it Was A Great Experience it Story, Gameplay, Combat Mechanics Were better Than Batman Arkham Asylum The Twists Were Very Good This Game Comes on Rank 2 in My Batman Arkham Games List. I have a huge emotional connection to this game, it's one of my childhood favorites that I have repeatedly come back to time and time again as an adult to replay, and because of that, it is probably safe to say that Batman: Arkham City is my personal favorite game of all time. I have beaten it at least seven separate times between console and PC, and I have 100% completed the game, both the base game and all DLC, and have gotten every achievement. Not easy, but so worth it. It's a perfect video game. Gameplay, story, music, voice acting, art direction, it's great at everything. It improves upon it's sequel in nearly every single way, and still has not been dethroned as the best comic book video game in my eyes. The fact that you can get the GOTY edition for like five bucks on multiple Steam sales throughout the year makes it a no brainer, buy it, play it, it's amazing and still holds up incredibly well even 15 years later.

Why this is the best superhero game ever made ? Because everything is built around Batman lore . Aside from its incredible story and the way faithfully it sticks to Batman’s principles, the side content is also at its best form. The side missions fit perfectly into the story & Batman's origin , the collectibles actually give you real rewards instead of being pointless filler, from unlocking new challenges to giving you more background about the game’s story. Once you start it, you just won’t stop until you 100% the game . But everything is so well balanced and fits together so perfectly that even doing that never gets boring.

Fun

I don't need to be the one to tell you that this is one of the best superhero games ever made, alongside its predecessor Arkham Asylum. To those who have the luxury of not knowing what happens in this game, you will wish you could play it for the first time again. Play this and Arkham Asylum before you die, if you like action games. Highly recommend you start with Asylum to get a grip of the mechanics and understand the deeper elements of City's story.

Best story in the series. Man is finally able to free roam now.
