Online discussion often decides to side with or against a game and all oposing claims are silenced. Because of this, you may not know that BG3 is infact an unfinished game. This is probably thanks to the act structure of the game and Larian frontloading 90% of the polish. The first act is great from both the content and polish perspective, the second is noticably worse in content as the map is almost empty outside of the main story areas but it still worked generally fine. The third act is so undercooked, This extends to a lot of things like companions not reacting to things they should or large patches of cut content but what matters to me is that I LITERALLY CAN'T FINISH IT as entering the main squere of the lower city behind the Baldurs Gate Gazette) causes a CTD regardless what i do. Non of the things i found online worked to fix any of this AND the amount of threads about people crashing in ways other than my problem in act 3 made even findig information hard. People apearantly crash on just entering this zone, loading a save on this zone, watching a cutscene in this zone, etc. Thanks to Larian and Wizardas of the Coast falling out, there will never even be a fix in the future for any of this either. I can hardly recommand a game that i literally can't finish after spending over 100 hours on that character. If you just want to mess around with different DnD builds in act 1, it's great. Like i said, ACT 1 is basically problem free. Based on achievements, that's most people anyways. i just find it wierd that Noone helf Larian acountable for any of this after what CDPR got for the Cyberpunk launch and unlike Cyberpunk which is amazing now, they never fixed this game.
