Baldur's Gate 3

I don't write many reviews. Not really. But let me tell you about how I feel about this game. This game... has gotten me through some severe stuff within the last few years. Maybe that sounds silly. But playing through some of our companions' storylines, the themes that appear in every single one hit myself on a personal level. Astarion's and Shadowheart's storylines hit the hardest for me. This game also has a lot of genuinely funny moments. And the voice acting - Top tier. So. In short - This game. This *effing game*. It's amazing. It's... Just short of perfect. If I have a single complaint, it's how I will click to go to a certain spot and the camera decides I need to go elsewhere. But for me, this game has usurped even Chrono Trigger as my all time favorite. And that's saying something.

Best game I've ever played

Having watched dnd content online for years, this game has been my best purview into how it plays out at a surface level. I've been experimenting with builds and mechanics so that helped me learn more about the inner workings as well. Apart from the gamey things, the story is incredible, it has it's issues but the core story feels like a narrator guiding us through an epic. Haven't tried multiplayer so can't comment on it.
